$2750 Private Offer for rollover units

So I finally received my 2023 Maverick after 16 months. I would highly recommend you check your "Private Offer" you were told you would get when Ford switched your 2022 order to a 2023. Do it before you pick up your Maverick. My Maverick rolled over to a 2023 and was told several times by Ford that I was getting a 2750.00 rebate. Thought that was great until I realized the 2023 was 2275.00 more when the MSRP was generated. So I figured that's why they did it... price protection without calling it price protection.

Now... Ford has removed the rebate from my order and the dealer said Ford is not honoring the rebate. So... the Maverick is in my garage, I don't even want to drive it, and I would probably rather bring it back to the dealer and go after Ford.

Thank you Doctor Crane, you made me see the errors of my ways. And since you asked, "shifting like a bass boat" was meant to explain the feeling you get when you pilot a boat. No distinct feeling that the throttle is responding with any attack. Almost as if you are floating on water then punching the throttle and feeling the cavitation and not getting anywhere while making lots of noise.

You are absolutely right, they were foolish comments and that's why I removed them. Did you get to the part about the kitchen counter dash that looks like it was gouged with a box cutter? You have to admit that was right on.
