Base hybrid with a hitch 8/12

Yep--time will tell!I have seen several others on this forum with the same issue. Several have the hitch but a few of them have the very basic package so I have no clue why there is a hold on these Mavs. What's worse is Ford isn't saying. They just say no further updates at this time. Not good!
I have a hitch on mine- plus floor mats, full size spare and the 400w invertor i think . So no idea whats holding up those July- Aug orders . Hope they get built and shipped soon.I have seen several others on this forum with the same issue. Im wondering if those dates are correct, almost seems too soon unless they were waiting on one more for a full load going north. We will see when it actually shows up. maybe it is an allocation thing. Very rare to see a Maverick in Iowa. Ive only seen a few and that was months ago.Wow that's way faster than the September 23rd to 29th estimate I got in my email from Ford. I'm jealous!
It's an interesting observation, but at the same time mind-boggling that a hitch or associated components could be the hold-up.The common add on seems to be the hitch
You would think if there short on hitches they could simply send the truck to the customer anyway ( minus the cost of the hitch) and let the customer have a a dealer or 3rd party add the hitch. Or add it themselves. But who knows???The common add on seems to be the hitch
how long it took from production to built.Me too. I just got an email from my dealer saying my Maverick has been shipped with a ETA of Aug 30 - Sept 5th. It just changed from- IN PRODUCTION to "BUILT " late yesterday. Must be cranking out the Mavericks now to get them all done .
Surprising fast. Build week was Aug 22. Build day was Aug 24th. "BUILT"- day was early this morning. Sept 1st. Was still in production yesterday afternoon when i checked..how long it took from production to built.
Your history about same as mine. Original July build then delay after delay. till now. Thats quick for your modules being active. Should be soon and you will be built.got a call from the dealer 5/12/2022 for a 7/4 production week, that got bumped to 8/15 then recieved an email from ford on 8/5 on that my build week was 8/22. The online tracker changed to 'in production' ,Today (9/1/22) i just checked a lunch and my modules flashed.
@fordvideoguy , can you see if a trailer hitch is common for all of the orders you have that are stuck in production? The common add on seems to be the hitch
Interesting indeed. My base XL hybrid has a hitch too, and the dreaded 360. I’m ded. It's an interesting observation, but at the same time mind-boggling that a hitch or associated components could be the hold-up.
