Increasing production capacity is pointless if you can't source parts to actually complete the builds.

Yeah, none of this is going to help existing Maverick order holders or do anything to quench demand in the short term.

Cool plans for a few years out, though. I think all auto makers are smart to ramp up as much as possible in building capacity for EV vehicles in the future.

Future Hybrid owner here. But I'm amazed no EcoBoost folks noticed the video states the 2023 Mavs drivetrains will remain the same but then has a text overlay that states a 280HP turbocharged engine (at approx 2:07 in video).

Maybe its an error in the video, but this old gearhead noticed it even tho I'm focusing more on fuel efficiency this go-around with my new Hybrid vehicle. Heck, if I want acceleration I'll just hop on my highly-modified 2003 Yamaha V-Max!

Because these videos are clickbait that like to (SHOCK the Industry!) suggest a lot but beat around the bush because they don't have any verifiable information. Ford planning to relocate Maverick production in only a few model years would likely be newsworthy to get mention at least on some enthusiast sites yet this channel is the only one reporting it.
