Just a “heads up” as your Maverick goes into production

So I received a fantastic email that the hybrid VB XLT with the Lux pkg and CP that I ordered on 15 October is going into production 19 September. I have a VIN and decided to check with the dealer to confirm everything I ordered.
As I was looking over the order sheet, the SIBL has been changed to the DIBL. CP has been removed. I asked them why were the changes made without my consent, and they responded, “to get your vehicle into production”.
Neither are deal breakers, as I can get the SIBL from the dealer or LineX, but I am disappointed that the CP was removed.
I’d highly recommend that everyone check on your order to make sure it is exactly what you ordered.

Nice move by the dealer I assume or was it Ford? You don’t like it they mark it up and sell it to someone else. Win Win for Ford and the dealer.

Likely the dealer. I still have SIBL on my order.

I also asked the dealership to remove the SIBL back in December but I guess they didn't.

I would assume your invoice will be at least 600 bucks less for the CP360

What does it show at Ford order tracking. It lists all accessories, packages etc. Curious to see if it has changed there. I would also like to know what Ford marketing says if you call them. Mine is scheduled for Sept 19 as well. It's a hybrid, lariat, SIBL, lux, 360. On Ford Order Tracking mine still lists all that I ordered.

It only shows 300A and not the lux pkg nor the CP. I’m not taking delivery if the lux pkg has been deleted too. I’ve been driving a. VB hybrid XLT with the Lux pkg since 30 March that I picked up when a customer canceled their order.

I can't imagine that Ford would change it without your permission. I wonder if the dealer did it. I would call Ford marketing and ask how it got changed.

I noticed that on mine, too (similar order dates and scheduling). Also my build email doesn't list the XLT luxury package that was on my original order but DOES list most of the features under "accessories" (but not specifically as a package). Missing items seem to be the 400w/11V power inverter, heater mirrors, heated seats, wiper de-icers and leather wrapped steering wheel. I'm in FL so most of those thing won't be missed, if they are in fact dropped. But it will be interesting to see how the pricing is changed, if at all.

I just checked my window sticker on the tracker. Build date was last week and my modules are populated (17 Sep). My SIBL is included in the window sticker.

I don’t have a window sticker populated yet, so I guess I’ll just keep checking on it.
I called Ford, and they said they looked at all my order, and they can see the Lux pkg on it, but the SIBL was changed to the DIBL. I’ll go talk to the sales manager at the Ford dealer today to see what’s going on.

AFAIK the only thing Ford has force removed is the hotspot, which just happened this last week. If the SIBL(changed to drop-in) and CP360 were removed from your order, your dealer did that. I would raise hell with them for doing it without discussing it with you, and look for some compensation since you are now getting a truck you didn't order.

As for the DIBL, make the dealer buy that back from you at retail cost ($375) and use that money to off-set an aftermarket spray-in. You'll probably get a better product, and the only thing missing will be the "FORD" imprint in the front.

I assume that will be $20.00 less than the Price Protected Price I Have on my signed order sheet?

Interesting, mine doesn’t list the hot spot removal (build week 8/15 according to ford, but no modules populated) and my window sticker changed to a 4-rebill last Friday

Your dealer made the co360 change. Ford themselves did a DIBL swap (only for XLT) a while back but I thought that was over with and it's possible that your dealer made that change also.

Same here. No list of xlt lux but has listed things in lux package.
