Take it to the dealer that offers a loaner. Usually they feel more pressure to get you OUT of the loaner and back into your truck.
Very few offer them these days.

That's really concerning that it's a later build, I really had hope that Ford figured this stuff out, these more recent builds wouldn't experience this problem. Come on, Ford, gotta do better!

How the hell Ford not get the hybrid right on the Maverick? What's so different about this technology versus the ones they have on their other vehicles?

I'm beginning to think that I ought to sell mine before anymore issues and the value drops drastically.

It's starting to feel like "you get what you pay for!" with all the cheapness parts including the ones that truly matters.

So painful...

The Mav Hybrid technology is very similar to my 2010 Fusion technology such as the eCVT, motor controller, etc. But every Hybrid model will require a custom designed wiring harness to match the dimensions and routing available to the specific model. This wiring harness has been were most of the Mav Hybrid problems have been.

I would also reach out to Woody Anderson in Huntsville. They have a much larger service facility and might could get you in sooner than Madison. You would think they would check with each other but that takes effort on their part.

Use the A word. Attorney. Sometimes that gets people to act. The second one to use is Social Media.
Threatening legal action will just get them to stop talking to you beyond "Tell your lawyer to contact our legal representation." Even if you pursue Lemon Law that's between you and the manufacturer, not the dealership.

Be sure to read up on your states lemon law and make sure that you do everything that you need to do to document that and have the "all your i's dotted and T's crossed" so that you can use that if you need to.

You don't want to do anything by mistake which would impede your lemon law rights.

One thing I would look at is if the car is undrivable then you may want to have it towed to the dealership so that the lemon law clock would be ticking while it is sitting at the dealership waiting for someone to look at it. If you wait a month for an appointment with the truck at home that may not count under the lemon law rules.

I just checked and it looks like if a car is returned under the lemon law then in Alabama the car title is branded as a lemon law return which greatly devalues the car so that would give Ford a lot of incentive to avoid that.

I got ptu 4wd fault it. Then blinking dash lights then the ebrake failed when I started the trucknitnfailed when the door opened and I just sat down red warning. Have a popping noise in the stero the battery keeps going dead endless drain. It won't charge enough to do auto start stop regardless how long you drive. I.have problems every single time.it rains.seems to run fine and work the computer does some funky things at the start. That's normal it's actually in the owners manual a new car or battery can cause the truck to throw random errors until it learns. So apparently it takes time. Had many faults turn it off and back on seems to fix it. I got a emergancy pre braking isn't working warning simple restart the car went away. It rains funky things happen.

After waiting 13 months for mine and driving it 3 weeks, the check engine light came on. Air in the cooling system for the high volt battery. Called my local dealer where I bought it, and got an appointment 6 days later. But they said bring it in, and they’d at least work it in to figure out the problem ahead of time. I have a really good dealer! Called yesterday, and they said the cooling hose had been misrouted and wore a tiny pinhole in the line. Emergency ordered the part and will let me know by 9 or 10 Monday. I have always had good service with this dealer, and they have treated me fairly. Smaller dealer, so I probably waited longer for my truck, but worth it on the backside. Thanks Ford Autoworld in Anderson, IN!

*Edit* Let me add he asked me how I was set for transportation without any prompting. I told him I was fine until Monday. If it’s not fixed then, he’ll call Enterprise.

I feel ya. 1 year wait to get my truck keyed at 4 days old, and then a roid monkey jay walker decides to throw metal coffee cup and dent my door, and then punch the box at 2 weeks old
Unfortunately, we can’t control what some ah will do. I have had my vehicle keyed because someone didn’t like my window sticker. They are cowards. Hopefully karma will get your jaywalker someday.

I may have missed a post about this, so if so I apologize.

After about six months with my first Mav I had a situation very similar to yours. I made an appointment at my dealer, which I was glad to get in two days. However, in the meantime my local mechanic (buddy of mine) asked me to bring it down so they could put it in the rack. He knew exactly what he was looking for and found it in about 30 seconds.

A rabbit (I had seen for a few days earlier) had chewed thru 3 wires in the bundle that is directly behind the differential. It caused nearly all the same warnings you are getting.

Might be worth a look.
First Mav? I hate you. ;)
