I've been popping mine on and off to run wiring and haven't heard my A pillars so much as jiggle or wiggle - hoping those affected are a small number!!

It was recently on IIHS TikTok that the Maverick was up for side crash testing. Maybe they found something.

I've been defending Ford for a while on this stuff but it's getting old now.

Takata has been dead for years, they went belly up.

Hope this recall doesn't end up like one of my vehicles that had a Takata, it was 4 years after I received notice of the recall that a part was available. By that time I'd sold the car.

Ford doesn't make airbags, kind of hard to blame them, unless it's simply due to improper installation.

11 dealership visits in the first 6 months of ownership would be soul crushing. Sorry for your bad luck. I'm having the opposite experience. Minus one keypad issue that just required me to turn the feature off and on again via the gauge cluster menu, my Maverick is 100% trouble free after 5 months. Hope your gremlins disappear after your next visit.
