its like people forgot how bad the Lincoln Mark LT was. ford used to do this with f150s.....they stopped for good reason.

How about just a Maverick comfort trim? The exterior is fine to me. It's the interior that could use some refining. I would definitely pay the extra $.

I don't want a Lincoln version of the Maverick. I would like to have a Platinum Trim level of the Maverick however.

Were they bad? Just curious. I've seen a few on the road but don't know much about them.

Pretty much this. People don't want to buy a truck from a luxury brand. They want to buy a truck from a rugged brand and then get the highest trim package they can afford.

Although there's one guy I know of who made a franken- truck by putting a Cadillac front clip on a Silverado 1500, and getting a custom tailgate badge made. But I'm not sure that counts.
