OCTOBER 16, 2021 ordered and confirmed same day
Hybrid Lariat with LUX package, co pilot 360
just called ford and was told I have a VIN # and a schedule Aug. 29 production date.
did not get e mail from ford or hear anything from dealer
I called just to see if order was pushing to a MV23.
once i received the information i ask rep if there was any thing she could do to help with my waiting frustration. she sent me the $100.00 coupon for ford store.
if you do not ask you do not get. i will take anything they want to give for the delay.

good luck on any outstanding OCT orders not VIN yet.

Ford just announced order banks opening for my 23 moved to September some time.

Looks like I am on the still waiting train. No build date no VIN per ford chat. @fordvideoguy what do you recommend we say or show to dealers regarding the August 2nd date? It seems my dealer is acting like there is no immediate steps to take about my order. Just a generic "we will roll over your order when it is time." What should I say to them to try and get an appointment as close to Aug 2 as possible? Thanks!

Update on mine. So I texted my salesperson because I saw they were selling a Maverick close to my specs per the website at MSRP at a partner dealership. Two hours later...that puppy is now $10,000 over MSRP. Welp! I tried to give them my money early but for $10k over I'm not doing it.

Man this thread gets me heated lol. Seeing all you October orders getting scheduled while I have an xlt hybrid lux 360 order from 9/16 with no progress. I'm happy for you all but man it really bums me out reading this thread. Same with the November order thread.

Doesn't mean it cant bum me out. And its actually because my dealer forgot to do the ROVP process, cancelled my order yesterday.

Sorry about the rovp screw up, that is definitely something Ford should fix. Customers should have the correct info from the start.

Bullshit. There is no rhyme or reason with Ford. You have December orders with more constraints being built.

The date is now in September some time but no specific day yet.

Bullshit. There is no rhyme or reason with Ford. You have December orders with more constraints being built.

I agree, they should just work from earliest to latest and if there's a constraint item it should get put on the earliest order date first until that one is built. I think lots of us in October would be built by now doing that.
