I added the window rain guards. I don't like them in general but due to today's auto designs the are a necessity if you want to crack the windows while it's raining. Also installed my bed floor liner. I do have a tonneau cover but that's probably going to have to wait until I heal up more.

While all the great news from Ford was hitting the press today, I installed my $28.35 hood scoop.
How did that happen? Well $399 list, Ford Parts 20% discount for July, 42k Ford pass points and a $100 bird dog/finder fee from dealer.

Not very happy with the overall design, but it will grow on me just like mud flaps.

Not only looks good, but I bet it helps stop hood flutter that some people say happens at over 65 speed on the interstates.

I knocked out a couple things today, on wifey's new Mav. It was HOT here today - 104 or 105 I believe, glad the shop AC was up to the task.

Most of this stuff is repetitive, as many of you guys & gals have "been there, done that" but it was fun nonetheless.

1) "3D" tailgate letters from Etsy.
2) Backflip MX4 tonneau cover. This thing is really nice!
3) All weather FoMoCo mats
4) LasFit LED kit: Stop/Turn/Tail, Reverse, 3rd Brake Light, Cargo Light, "Switchbacks" only thing left is the two front side marker lights.

Has anyone figured out an LED replacement bulb for the factory bed light that is next to the 120Vac outlet? Now that one is begging to be replaced to.

That's about a 1/3 of the stuff that accumulated while awaiting delivery. More work next weekend.

We have an appointment for window tint Wednesday.

I'm in Houston. Sadly I was outside for the wash, but got it done. Also the heat was why I only did a quick wash. Didn't do a good dry or quick detail. Yours is coming along nice. Hopefully I will have the time to get more done in the coming weekends.

Finally got the tonneau cover… Was going to get the one put out by Gator but after reading so many reviews claiming it was too short, went with the one on the Ford accessory website. Not bad for an inexpensive roll up cover

I did get my tonneau cover on this morning. I just need help getting it out of the box as I can't lift over 10 lbs. I got the Extang Trifecta 2.0. I also added the tailgate letters, (you've all seen them haha). Items on the way...
Buschur catch can & cold air intake
engine cover
touch screen cover
silver accent decal on grill

Once there is a lowering kit specifically for the Maverick I think I'm going that way.

Did something that I thought I would never do with my hybrid…and I kinda liked it!

Drove a short in town trip (7 miles) home all the way in Sport Mode! I normally get 40-48mpg on this trip but thought what the heck. I was surprised I still managed 36mpg…but man was she peppy and fun!
