I know the Maverick is standard with pre-collision auto braking. I have yet to be in a dicey situation, but I have it set to highest sensitivity, and yet I never receive any warnings, etc when approaching a stopped vehicle.
Honda vehicles I’ve driven in the past have warned me with audible noises and graphics if approaching a stopped car, but the Maverick has yet to make the pre-collision function known.
Maybe it is conservative and not as reactive as Honda’s safety sense, but just curious whether it will ever kick in if I need it to.
Anyone verified the auto-braking is functional? I don’t want to risk hitting a vehicle just to test to see if it is awake or not, but no clue whether mine is active.
