I have non of those, XLT, EB, FX4....is it the moon roof maybe??? Full size spare?
No, those are fine. Do you have a tonneau cover, splash guards, optional spray bedliner, bed tray liner, bed extender, protective film? Or the Lumens Bed Lighting?

What constraints or add on items would keep a Maverick from being built in a normal time frame? I am new to this forum today. Thanks

So Tim are you saying the above add on's may keep Maverick from being built in a timely manner? I thought if you order Lariat Package; spray in bedliner is standard.

For those that might have missed it in the other thread, here is the e-mail that is going out today.

At the end, Ford is like any other corporation. They don't care if they pissed some or all of us. It all can be fixed with a nice commercial showing how "an American family is happy with Ford" and people will forget what happened. It happened with the Pinto. It will happen with the Maverick.

What a silly letter means nothing. In the body it states removing items is NO guarantee of getting scheduled.
If you didn't want the options you ordered why'd you order them??
More garbage.

Yup. I bet they keep the sub $20k base, just so they can advertise it, but raise prices on the XLT and Lariat trims, as well as the option packages. Hopefully the "private offer" closes the gap on whatever the price increase ends up being. Probably not.
I could totally see this happening. XLT trim will probably go from $2,365 to $2,600 and Lariat from $5,865 to $6,450.

So I did NOT get the E-mail today. So I figured I'd call Ford and see if that means I finally got a build date. Nope. So now what?

It is standard in the lux package. He’s referring to the optional spray-in if it was ordered as a stand-alone item

Got my e-mail. Don't know exactly what I'm going to do. Feeling frustrated with the options presented, especially that non-descript private offer with a due date in just a few days; seriously, what the hell is that?

I ordered an XL November 1 and the onlu option was the $100 tow package and here is what the notification said:
Strong demand and global supply chain constraints continue to delay the scheduled production date and delivery of your Maverick®. We have now reached a point where there is a strong likelihood we will be unable to produce your Maverick order within these constraints.

"We understand that this is frustrating.

That’s why we’d like to offer you some options to keep you moving forward with a new vehicle. Have a look below to see which path seems best for you, and then contact your Ford dealer to set up a plan.

If you want to keep your 2022 Maverick order
Contact your Ford dealer to review your order specifications and discuss the removal of certain features or packages that are preventing it from being scheduled for production. While there are no guarantees that these changes will result in your order scheduling, your Ford dealer will need to remove those constraining features or packages by July 8th for your 2022 order to potentially still be scheduled for production.

If we cannot build your current order and you’d like to convert it to a 2023 Maverick
Understanding you may not be able to take delivery of your 2022 Maverick order, we will be making a special private offer discount available beginning in August to those customers whose orders go unscheduled. This private offer may be applied towards the order and purchase of a 2023 Maverick. Please consult with your Ford dealer beginning in August when the 2023 model year Maverick order bank opens to understand more details about this special private offer.

We are grateful for your loyalty amidst these unforeseen global circumstances.

Contact your local Ford dealer to set up an action plan today.

Check out the link below for frequently asked questions about the Maverick."
No message for me...wondering why when you only have 1 item I have and a. Few more. I will call the Ford.

Just talked to my dealer who I trust more than ford. He hasn't got a email or notified yet. He said this sounds exactly what they did with the 2021 bronco rollover to 2022. I'm sure Tim will talk about this.Relax take a chill 💊.
If Ford keeps this pattern of new model rollouts going much longer, they’ll need to be looking for a bunch of new customers to bait and switch.

Nothing like starting the 9th month of waiting to get a call from the dealer, who has my deposit, to tell me I’m not getting my truck unless I settle for a truck I don’t want.…and that’s only a maybe….
Or wait for a ‘23 and if you get it no answers as to pricing…or when in ‘23…
My patience and understanding is done.
Ford has the ability to salvage this but they are in a very precarious position.

I cancelled my order on May 25th with an email explaining why so that FoMoCo would realize my dealer wasn't trying to play games. Received my deposit refund 3 days later. Today I received this email. I guess FoMoCo still plans on building the truck I ordered and the dealer will likely sell it whenever it finally gets built. <shrug>

What I find funny/ironic is that I ordered the Maverick in October 2021 with the expectation of seeing it in 2022 ... it's apparently still not scheduled or built. I ordered a Rivian R1T on a lark in February 2022 not expecting to see it until late 2023 or early 2024. But I've been driving the Rivian for nearly 3 weeks now. <smh>

The Maverick would certainly have been cheaper (altho it was pretty well maxed out), but I wanted my comforts. And it seems the only way Ford was going to be able to build a truck for me was if I gave up all of those comforts. <sigh>

I've been seeing a few Rivians around. Almost as many as I've seen Mavericks. They are badass trucks. You did it right.
