After doing some building the 2024 Ranger was only about 1k more then the 2023 Ranger I was considering. 39k vs 38k. XLT SuperCrew, 2wd, Tech, and Tow.

Went to the dealer today and got my October 4 2021 ordered XLT Lux Hybrid. 486 Day wait. No mark up and they had the Private Offer ready to go. Personally I like the Atlas Blue over the Velocity Blue.

My tracker went from shipped to Final Preparation last night back to shipped this morning. Looks like the web page got an update. Finally got a date on the shipped marker.

The title I got from Iowa didn't have the unladen weight on it so I had to go to an official weigh master. I think it's because all trucks in California are reg as commercial vehicles and there is an extra fee if it weighs over 10,000 lbs. Found the place to weigh it here...

Took the registration paper work to California DMV today. Had to both SMOG and weight the truck before hand. Weighed 3720lbs with about 9 gal of fuel. Then hit with $2246 bill. About hundred dollars cheaper then their online estimator. So not to bad.
