In CT you pay Personal Property taxes on Cars, Motorcycles, Boats and the trailer on the boat. If it's registered and has a motor, it's taxed. Where I am my 2018 Subaru cost me $760/yr just in taxes. MIL rate is 73 I think....That's why I call it the "TaxU2Death State"! Oh yeah, we also pay sales tax and income tax as well LOL!

At this point, I'm thinking they're doing me a favor if the truck isn't here until after January 1 - would hate to pay property taxes on it after having it in my possession for just a few weeks if it arrives late this year. Just looking for the silver lining.

if mine is projected for January, then I'm cancelling... especially since I reserved June 25th... i will just grab a used car and wait a couple of years.

How are you going to know it is January? Until all the other months are scheduled then by process of elimination.
