Yeah, I heard about them at the announcement, but delayed ordering because I have been trying to get a house and didn't want the hit on my credit right before buying. Then when they announced the hybrid cut-off date I said screw it and jumped on ordering. In hindsight, I should've just ordered at the beginning because I probably would have one by now and with the housing prices, I still don't have a house either anyway. 🤦‍♂️
I still think your 11/02 Lariat Lux will get a build date before any of the Aug-Oct XLT Lux orders (and maybe before even the Jun-Jul XLT Lux as well...)

Just give them a phone call.
Stopped by today. I'm hoping everything is finalized. Scheduled for Saturday pick up. My story will be told after everything is finalized. Still paranoid something is going to change if I write about it before I have keys.

The fact that your June 19th order is still unscheduled is a travesty. Even though there is supposedly no scheduling this week, hoping you get a date!

In three separate tries to the phone reps last week, not a one would give me the priority - they all said only the dealer could see it now. I know numerous others have said they have received a priority number from customer service (maybe all via chat, which doesn't work for me here at work), but the phone reps I spoke to were pretty adamant that they used to be able to see it and now can't.
In all the million times I talked to marketing number they never once could give priority

Asked Ashley what my current priority number is for my July 8th XLT Lux CP 360. I’m now priority 13. I had been sitting at priority 2 since late January. I’m fine with rolling over to 2023 if price is protected. But damn Ford has been a disorganized mess to deal with. No vehicle should be delayed a year and a half. If Ford wants to go with this sales model they have a long way to go.

Wow July 8th and only a 13… certainly @Yar should be at 10, but I guess that suggests there are still a fair number of non-MTC members in that unscheduled Jun-early Jul range?

There's got to be more to this story, did you have some items that were low availability that you eventually took off? I ordered through the same dealership on the 21st of July and I just got mine

The difference is that yours was a Lariat Lux as opposed to his XLT Lux. If you look back at the chart at the very beginning of the thread, the pattern is obviously favoring the (pricier & thus more profitable) Lariat Lux orders over the XLT Lux orders.

Forgot the mention Hybrid engine, but no haven't changed anything since July 8th. Since I have been listed at Priority 2, my order is clean with no admin issues. As theway-yay-ting said, I have the unobtanium trifecta of Hybrid XLT Lux CP 360. Maybe someday it will be a highly rare and sought after Mecham Auction vehicle? :)

That sucks - let me just tell you that it's worth it. I have the hybrid Lariat and it is just better than I was hoping for ...and I obsessively read everything on this forum (and still had my expectations exceeded)

Glad to hear that. I Was on the fence about going with Lariat. In hindsight I should have!

The one that really surprises me is @Tylorious - a Lariat and a FE - that one checks all the "higher margin" boxes (plus it absolutely has to be built this year). I would bet it gets scheduled sometime this month.

With that one exception, the table really puts into perspective the scheduling bias toward Lariat Lux over XLT Lux.
I do not definitively see how a portion (those listed on the table) can be used to determine any bias or lack thereof. Perhaps lariat rims and/or tires are more abundant for the lariat than for the XLT. What are the actual scheduled to be delivered to the plant of each part? I did notice on my Lariat First Edition that the DOT DATE made of my tires was 0122. They then had to be delivered to the plant and then installed on my truck then shipped and delivered to me on 03/09/2022. So I am thinking there was a good chance the tires were the last item they needed to make my truck. So WHAT could the production of XLT's be hindered by? OR whatever ???

It's a reasonable assumption (which is all we can make without access to the full data set) that the folks who have posted here are a somewhat representative sampling of the full set of folks who ordered from Chapman-Horsham. As of today, there are 96 unscheduled hybrid orders from Chapman-Horsham, and our list accounts for 21 of them (22%).

The sample size is less than ideal, but still reasonable for a rough estimate of the overall set. For what it's worth, our small hybrid sample of 38 (both unscheduled & scheduled) also correlates closely to the much larger MTC sample. In that sample (6497 orders, again, both unscheduled & scheduled), there were 52.3% XLT and 28.6% Lariat; in our sample, we have 57.9% XLT and 21% Lariat.

Further, we've been told all along that the constraint rates for XLT Lux (14%) and Lariat Lux (13%) were virtually identical. These figures have been advertised in multiple videos from @fordvideoguy and have never changed.

Yet somehow, in our (admittedly small) sample (and anecdotally in numerous MTC threads), we've seen many reports of later Lariat Lux orders being scheduled prior to XLT Lux orders. Not a complaint, just an observation. Many of the "Lux" features (as well as CP-360) between these two trim levels are identical, yet we continue to see numerous XLT Lux orders from June-August (!!!) go unscheduled while every single Hybrid Lariat Lux in our sample, with order dates ranging from July through late September, all have build dates.

Ford CEO previously stated to shareholders that in these challenging times of supply chain shortages, they would focus on building the more profitable models, so this seems to follow that stated corporate intent (and has borne itself out in the small amount of data we have available).
