October Hybrid Orders United

I really hate to have to think this way, but Ford has trained me well. Maybe all these orders are being moved to Priority 2 so they can get people off their backs for a few weeks.

My October hybrid lariat lux CP360 and hybrid XL CP360 orders from the 21st are still code 19 and both dealers say they can’t change that…..at all. Somewhere in between lies the truth.

I asked one dealer how many hybrid orders are ahead of mine. Claims he has no way of knowing that.

Asked another dealer how many total hybrid orders they have and what % are fulfilled. They have no way of knowing that.

10/22 Hybrid XLT / Lux / 360 order moved to Priority Code 02. First movement since October so I'll take it as a small win...

Just checked with Ford Chat. My October 16 order got moved fun from a Priority 19 to a Priority 10. Don’t know what that means or who did it (the dealership, regional manager or ford). Still no Production Schedule.
If I heard FordVideoGuy correctly, he said the Regional Managers were suppose to move all the unscheduled June, July, Aug, Sept and OCTOBER orders to Priority 2. Clearly the Cincinnati Regional Manager didn’t get that message.

I found out I’m now a Priority Code 02 but no scheduled build week/vin. Ordered Oct 20. Back in early March I was Priority Code 19, so at least I am moving up. Ordered XLT Lux Package, then in March dropped the Lux Pkg.

Followup to my post an hr or so ago. I sent a bunch of screen shots of people here being a PC2 and guess what? So am I now. I know it is irrelevant at this point but would have been nice to be proactively contacted by the dealer. Haven’t heard from the other one yet who claims ignorance to anything and everything.

Are you saying your dealer was able to get you moved into priority 2 because you showed them the screenshots, or did you just find you that you also happened to get moved to priority 2 this week without them telling you?

They told me PC2 only AFTER I sent them the screenshots. Only once in 7 months have they proactively contacted me.

Mine got moved to priority 02 a week ago. Live in Cincinnati. Ordered from Castrucci Milford.

Ahhh man is that true? So the p/c 2 designation doesn't really mean anything?

I think it doesn't mean much, except you definitely won't get scheduled unless you first move to priority 2. I'm at 19, so I know pretty well that I won't get scheduled this week. The big mystery is how quickly you can move from 19 to 2 to scheduled.

From what I understand, anything below 10 is set by the region. I think what we are seeing now is that some regions are moving certain build constraints to priority 2 sooner than others. I am not sure whether that actually translates to being scheduled sooner.

To what I understand from Tim’s videos,
P/c 2 doesn’t mean the factory is looking at scheduling it per say, it’s the regional people saying to the factory schedulers to look at the order.

It means that all the Oct priority 2 orders are going to be scheduled within the next 2 weeks.
