Ford should have stolen the old Doritos slogan, "We'll make more," because they seem to be having a difficult time doing that right now.

Kinda has that sleazy marketing thing going for it. Right up their alley.

Boring! I say let your freak flags fly and change the slogan to "Make it in your Maverick!" Use those tie downs for something freaky-deaky!

When I lived in upstate NY, there was a saying "Hurray, hurray! It's the first day of May! Outdoor f-ing begins today!"

The hybrid's popularity was a "Duh" for us but a surprise to Ford. Maybe less on marketing and more on dependable market research?

Marketing and production are 2 different teams with 2 different budgets.

And marketing usually takes time to plan, produce and distribute, it will probably arrive about the time they re-open ordering. Which honestly, I think ordering will be the norm for car buying.

There may be a few standard builds on lots for those that just can't wait, but I think in general, manufacturers will produce based more on orders and reduce the excess that builds up over the model year, as well as go to straight up MSRP pricing.

Here's the price, here's your add-ons, here's your total. It will be here in 4 weeks. I think that is the future.

Guys, the slogan is for when order banks reopen. The marketing team has to be ready for it ahead of that. Like they have to prep ads for the fall now.

And the number of folks who seem to think the marketing team is going to drive down to Mexico and jump on the assembly line... is weird. Y'all know that's weird, right?

Spend money where its needed. Deport the marketing team to Mexico and get them to work on the assembly lines. Less yappin, more clackin!
I swear I wrote my previous post before reading this. šŸ˜†
