A few issues. Drive modes are only selectable while the engine isn't running. It will stay in eco mode the whole drive but the minute you change it while driving it crashes and reverts to normal mode. Sure this can be fixed by using the asbuilts from an escape. Just haven't had the time to get it sorted.

Another thing is there isn't the intelligent awd menu. Can't seem to make that show up. Also all the graphics in the dash are of the escape. Other than that all gauges an lights work perfect.

Very interested in this thread. I have a Hybrid XL and will jump on this 100% assuming the mode selector and fuel level gets addressed. I wish my local junkyards had some Escapes.

Alright guys, Sorry I've been slacking, got into a fender bender with my truck and I've been dealing with insurance that past week or so. I have installed my Escape shifter and still don't have Manual mode, I think it has to do with something in the PCM telling the computer its in L mode VS the new Manual mode.

My fuel gauge works 100% accurate.

Awesome to hear fuel gauge is working. How about warning lights for missing features, and drive mode changing? I like to use slippery in winter conditions here and eco as much as possible instead of default. I forget, is your Mav hybrid? I may pull the trigger on this.

Do any of you fine swappers know the part # for the "stock" Maverick FX4 or Lariat 6.5" Digital Display cluster? And since it probably matters the 2.0 Ecoboost version.

She's beautiful, even if its not the right part. Came from an Escape PHEV so not quite what I want but it was cheap and it looks awesome. NVM it was not a PHEV. Issues: Cross Traffic, Blind Spot, Reverse parking aid alerts that I can't get rid of. Biggest issue: cant change drive modes, can't change any IPM Forscan settings - get an error.

Otherwise I'll play with it until I can get my hands on a regular hybrid version that's a newer revision.

You should be able to remove every feature you don't need. I doubt the panel itself is technically any different than the hybrid model. Hop on the forscan forum and ask for some help

I planned on getting some help from the Forscan forum when I have some time, I just rushed the install then got a stomach virus. This is the first time I've ran into an issue making changes is all. Appreciate the feedback.

Alright. I just got my cluster in. I found a LJ6T-10849-JEA which is the gas model, AWD without manual mode from a 2021 Escape titanium.

loaded up my as built and It’s good to go with the exception of some missing screens (AWD screen) , no tow/haul mode and the the dreaded drive mode Issue.

This cluster also disables the traction control switch? Which is kind of weird, but I guess being that there is the drive mode issue it would somehow be affected. My first thought is the Gear Selector Module.

has anybody made any headway on the drive mode issue?

Unfortunately I'm locked out of editing mine. Not sure if the Escape PHEV module is supported in Forscan. I'll probably have to get support to make a custom test version to fix it.

it was actually lower than my MAV. Once I figure out the cluster completely I will change it to match mine(Drive modes is what I NEED to work). Right now the cluster is about 3k miles lower than my actual mileage(6k)

Alright boys and girls. We have working drive modes now.

It looks like there is a translation difference between the IPC from an escape and the ABS from a maverick.

Posting the fix now and will elaborate in another post, my findings once I am back at my computer.

You need to have Normal drive mode and Mud drive mode disabled. It translates differently on the IPC. This has now let me change drive modes as normal while the truck is on and running.
