10/28 confirmed order here.

I finally bit the bullet, called yesterday and dropped LUX, 360, and SIBL. Now have Lariat hyrbid with only soft fold cover, trailer hitch, and carpeted mats.

For what it's worth, my dealership indicated I had definitely made the right call and that there was no way I would have gotten a MY22 if I had kept those options I dropped. He also said he's anticipating a "steep price increase" for MY23.

Now hoping I can get a truck in my driveway by August. Dare to dream...

Think you made a good call. I dumped everything but hitch and my 9/13 hybrid XLT got a build date for June 6. If we really are thirsty for options we can order a 2023 and have a 2022 to drive in the meantime.
Ordered 10/14. Refuse to drop SIBL and Bed Cover. No VIN at this time. I am not going to change anything. I wanted everything I added and they can figure out how to supply it. If I can get the bed cover then they should be buying from the same place, that is my own opinion though.
You can very easily aftermarket both of those things or just have the dealer do a SIBL + cover after delivery. Odd reason to risk getting balanced out of MY2022 entirely... 🤷🏾‍♂️

I got time on my hands. The SIBL had issues by the company Ford chose. I dont feel confident with the shops around my area not making the same mistake. Would rather have any damage be under warranty by Ford. We will see how it pans out.

My dealer also said that if I remove it they dont guarantee any faster delivery. I figure test the water.

I welcome all October Hybrid Orders to unite tomorrow and focus our energy on getting scheduled. I hope and think there will be a few of us chosen.
Try being a June order.

Fair enough. I checked out our local LINE-X shop and got a $600 quote w/lifetime warranty FWTW.

same here. I decided to go bare bone and drop the copilot. It's sad that I had to do it to hopefully get the truck sometime this year.

So you basically have a different vehicle - just to get it sooner? I always find this so strange. I have an XL EB right now that will be sold when the hybrid arrives, and it's a good vehicle. But missing out on the Lariat Lux features is a no go. I can't imagine being so desperate to get it that I'd take it stripped out.

But, on the other hand, let me say thank you for freeing up chips for those of us who choose to wait.

PS - your dealership has absolutely zero idea if you'd have gotten it as a 2022 or not. Dealerships are frequently clueless and until Ford announces that packages/features are "balanced out" no one knows if they'll be pushed.
