I'd go thru fleet sales at my dealer. It never dawned on me that there would be separate allocations for retail vs. fleet.

I wouldn't order at all. Although I love my truck, this was a very stressful and lengthy process. I wouldn't like to go thru it again. 8 ½ months wait was a nightmare without a car.

The year. I wouldn't have bothered and tried in a couple years when the industry has its feces consolidated.

I would order nothing from Ford. Might try for an AWD Ridgeline hybrid. The wait might be about as long.

The soft rollup through Ford accessories. It's a Truxedo Truxsport. Used the ForPass points, so not too bad on price and does everything I need. I really wanted to avoid blocking the rear window. I'm prepared for a little water to get in there, but at that price I can't complain.
You can't block the rear window with mine - the final 1/3 doesn't fold up. But it takes all of 2 minutes to install/uninstall, so it's a breeze when you need access to the full bed

I’m not positive I would change anything.

I would have considered the hybrid if it wasn't so difficult to obtain. I would have ordered upgraded tires, not a real fan of the '4 line tread' car tires it has, although they so far are good in the rain & low road noise.

Big facts on the last one.

I wouldn't change my build, but I would have liked to get a Lariat Hybrid instead. Why stop us from getting lariat with hybrid? Frustrating as heck! Need dat ACC baby.

Nothing. I like what I have. I was thinking of getting the folding cover but now that I have my truck, I'm glad I didn't. No need for it!

360 cp, strictly for the blind spot monitoring but I will just be buying some blind spot assist mirrors and be happy that my truck wasn't delayed any further.

Very helpful thread for those waiting to place orders in August. I think I’m going base XL hybrid with trailer hitch and 360 in Area 51 or Cactus.

So, I didn't get to actually buy my build, but I put a lot of thought into it. I ended up finding one that was close enough because I'm impatient. I think it worked out, though.

I got one with CP360 which I was going to leave off, but did not get the FX4 kit like I wanted. In hindsight, I'd rather have CP360 than FX4 (if I had to choose).

Not only is CP360 nice, but I actually use the Eco and Sport drive modes more than I thought I would. Sport mode is no joke - it changes the attitude by a lot! And saving gas was part of the justification for getting rid of a perfectly fine, paid off Silverado. So Eco mode gets some use. I've yet to see a scenario where Mud/Ruts or Sand mode would get used, but we'll see. I only plan on driving on forest service roads or "soft roading". I really didn't need FX4. It's a commuter.
