🙋‍♂️ What did you do TO / WITH your Maverick today?

You have some great mods and I especially like the slide out tray. Very well executed and very little loss of bed space. Are the side a 2x4 with a groove cut in? Did you use any kind of mechanical slider like for a drawer? Approximately how much weight did it add to the Maverick?

The CG looks great and Iove the added outlets to the cubby. Obviously, you bought your truck to use. Good job!

Those are 2x4s but not grooved. I cut them to size and screwed them together. Tray was pretty heavy being that the plywood was 3/4 inch but that's what I had in the shed. I wasn't going to buy new plywood. Idk how much weight it added though. I used ball bearing rollers from Harbor freight. The only thing I bought were the 2 2x4s and screws. Everything else I had.

Installing artificial grass at home. 2x carpets. 18x12 and 14x12. I was extremely happy that they folded easily. Underneath the carpets is about 400lbs of sand.
This is what my father meant when he said a homeowner NEEDS a truck.

Added a SUBTLE TOUCH by installing MATTE BLACK decals to the tailgate…

Got a link to decal? Matte black seems to match the plastic trim. This and the bottom decal from another poster are so clean. (Going to need to stock pile 303)

Yesterday I got my truck tinted with limo tint in the rear.

On Saturday I bought 25 bags of mulch and transported them home. I figure this was close to 50lbs a bag so 1250 lbs. My largest load so far.
