It is my understanding that Dealer-Installed Options (DIO) include the cost of installation in the price which is then reimbursed back to the dealership. So if a dealer is actually charging a customer for installation on any of these they are actually double-dipping!

This is different than common Ford Accessories that are stocked, sold and installed by the dealership (i.e., not on the vehicle order to the factory).

There isn't a place you can check your order yourself. Either call Ford or your dealer. The spreadsheet you saw was from purple that submitted the info to the reddit thread.

The hinge lock protects an unlocked tailgate from theft. Tailgates have been known to show up on "aftermarket" so to speak.

On the XLT Luxury Package it is included for those with the Hybrid engine, you will need to make sure you add the optional Full Size Spare Tire if you have the Ecoboost.

If someone orders their Maverick from a dealer in a remote city, but has that dealer do a Courtesy Delivery to another dealership in the buyers town. Does the Courtesy Delivery Ford Dealer do and get paid to install all of the DIO’s Since the selling dealer never sees your Maverick? Are is the CD dealer going to charge for DIO’s again.

@fordvideoguy has a video about Myth Busters and he goes into detail about that. He said the dealer could or could not charge for labor to install. He went through a list of all DIO's and there were some "should be" freebies and others they would most likely charge for. But it's uptown the dealer.
