I'm using it in my Outback while awaiting word of my Maverick and am completely pleased with it! My phone is a Pixel 6 Pro and I've loaded a 100GB of DSD and FLAC music on it and it plays via Wireless AA just great. Everything just works.

I just ordered the Motorola MA1 with my Amazon points. I hope this still works and everyone is still satisfied with it? I still don't have my truck, but I'm ready when it arrives.

Still using mine. Every once in awhile I need to re-pair. Like every 3-4 weeks.

I had to re- pair a couple of times with my 2016 Escape. I never knew why either.

On a separate note, but kinda the same, does using your phone to do navigation use data from your phone, or does it use the Ford's wifi? I'll go back and try to find this answer in the current threads, but this thought just came to me.

The system disconnects for a few seconds occasionally, but then reconnects. I don't like that, but the overall convenience far outweighs this problem.

It seems to happen when I pull away from the house and the car and phone get out of range of my wifi system (which my phone connects to when I am home). But I can't say for sure that that is the problem.

I've had an aawireless on order since December. Still hasn't shipped yet. I randomly saw the Motorola was available on Amazon a few weeks ago with a may delivery. Jumped on it and the shipping date moved up to tomorrow. If the Motorola works great, I'll just sell the aawireless when it arrives I guess

Interesting, I had a bit of difficulty getting it to pair originally (I blame my fat, slow fingers) but haven't had to repair once since I set it up in mid February. I've been using it roughly 6 times a week since then.

Thanks. This probably would be the only time I use AA, but maybe if I like it I may have to upgrade to unlimited data. Time will tell.

I've experienced this, I think your theory is correct, but that it is just as likely to be our phones flaking out vs something to do with the dongle.

Overall I'm pretty satisfied, though I do feel like it can be quite a power drain (which is just as likely related to my phone as it is to the MA1). If I'll be out for an hour or two I'm likely to plug in directly.

I got a charging pad (like this) to put in the console tray. I just drop my phone on that and let it connect wirelessly to android auto. If I go for a pretty long drive, I find that the phone is up to 100% by the time I stop.

If I use the USB port under the dash for my wireless AA can I use another USB port to play music on a thumb drive? Or am I limited to 1 port for the "radio"? Or can I plug in the wireless AA in another port? I'm asking because I'm also considering a wireless charging port and I'm running out of ports.

Yes, you can use the Type C port.

Can someone try using a USBC to USB converter and see if it will play a flash drive? I'm asking because if I have the MA1 attached, I need the other port to play my music on a flash drive and I dont want to continually unplug the drive. I shuffle my songs on the drive so I want to pick up where I left off and if I unplug it won't do that.
My other worry was then where to plug my phone in to recharge, but I figured I could use the port in the back to charge my phone.
