I probably should have gone with the lux pkg for sooner availability but parting out saves about $1500 and I can wait. I don't really need the heated everything or the power seat. I need the extra protection for the bed because I don't have a garage. Currently drive a 2010 Ford Focus SEL. I grew up driving my Dad's/grandad's Rangers and I've always wanted a small truck. However, living in the middle of nowhere I want better fuel efficiency. I drive 60 miles round trip everyday for work and drive further to do anything fun on the weekends. I don't need towing power. I just want to be able to haul trash, firewood, fishing gear etc.

I was looking to buy a new SUV recently since the used market is so high because a sedan no longer meets my needs. Then I saw the ads for this truck. It's like this vehicle was made just for me. Great for everyday driving and haul stuff when I need it.

Ordered what I wanted and can wait until delivered. May be my last new vehicle at my age but I wanted the Rapid Red First Edition Hybrid.
I have a feeling I'm in the younger crowd for getting this truck. I'm 35 but feel the majority on here might have me by a few years.

Velocity Blue because I like bright colors
Hybrid fuel costs are high when you live out of town and I don't need it to tow
Lariat with Lux package (have two trucks with Lariat trim and a Harley Davidson can't skip the nice stuff)
molded Splash guard, protective film, floor liners and mats, Touchlink bed lighting and window air deflectors. I know I will be waiting but I already have three trucks so it's ok

I got the hybrid XLT Lux with the copilot 360.

I always wanted a truck however mid sizer got bigger and bigger and much more expensive than I wanted to spend. Plus the gas mileage is absolute garbage for them and gas is rising in price everyday.

My current car is coming up to 8 years old and it's time for a replacement. At first I considered going electric but the costs and practicality are prohibitive at this time.

So maverick checked all the boxes it's practical, roomy, gets good gas mileage and it's affordable.

Well I started to get a XLT hybrid in iconic silver but ordered a lariat 1st edition luxury package in carbonized grey with AWD and 4K towing.

I really don’t need AWD in Florida and all the other fluff the Lariat offers. Didn’t really want the sunroof or sliding rear window. I have a feeling gas prices will keep climbing unfortunately.

Went with my gut and initial feeling of the hybrid so I changed my order to a XLT hybrid in carbonized grey with luxury package and Copilot 360.

Probably be awhile until I get a scheduling email from Ford. The spay in liner will probably hinder my build. Oh well it’s going to take as long as it takes.
I went with near same order CGM, LUX and 360 package, but added the sliding rear window. As far as I can tell spray-in liner is only a hinderance if it's ordered a separate option, which since you have the LUX package the liner is included so your order shouldn't be held up.

I'm 39 and same. When I went to the local dealership there were two others ordering a Maverick in their 60s-70s. Showed my father what I ordered and he is wanting one as well.

To me it wasn't a question of which one to choose but if I should get one at all. I was on the fence about that until I saw that Alto Blue was a color option. The color was the tipping point. Once the decision was made to get one, options had to include both Towing and Off Road packages. Mainly, because they include higher capacity radiator, larger cooling fan, and transmission cooler. Although they probably would be nice to have, I stayed away from the co-pilot 360 and luxury packages, because the more technology the more chances of something going wrong.

Carbonized Gray First Edition hybrid, Lux package, Co-Pilot 360, Theft Prevention Hinge Lock.

Why? MPG, wanted the utility of a pickup without the size of the rest of today's trucks (including parking in the city and in the garage), creature comforts on long trips, and getting all of this as my daily driver to replace my small car. Went First Edition over the "regular" Lariat because I wanted the black accents with the Carbonized Gray body and it was a little cheaper than a similar Lariat build.

Given potholes (and because I REALLY like the blacked out 17" FX4 wheels) I'd rather have those over the black painted 18 inch FE rims, but maybe that's a swap down the line (along with changing to Fallen Wildpeaks soon). Might eventually change the stock soft roll-up over to an aftermarket hard roll-up down the line, and want to swap the Ford emblems for black and silver emblems.

Lariat Lux 2.0 AWD with the FX4 package and a moonroof in Velocity Blue. Planning on getting the Wildpeaks because the stock Pirellis are absolute garbage and Ford should be ashamed for offering them.

First new vehicle purchase and wanted to treat myself.

I have seen some press photos with the Wildpeaks
