This is what happens when you FoMo and Ford is the Robinhood. They cut you off when the trade gets good.

Hey, at least yours are moving in the right direction... Hopefully it stays at 3/7 for you!
Fingers crossed and holding my breath. That would be a birthday gift from Ford!!!!!

If Tom has 129-131 unscheduled hybrid orders after next Thursday and ~7 months of production remaining, I can't imagine these not getting fulfilled.

Ordered 8/20.

First build date: 2/28
Second build date: 3/28
Third build date: 3/14
Fourth build date: 3/7

Figure that one out........

I think you October and after orders are looking at MY23's..... Us early orderer's got lucky. Things are wacky, ain't nobodies fault.
Although I am happy for everyone who got scheduled (atleast) for the build date .... Whats happening to my order ...
Ordered 7/29/2021 .... NO UPDATE since then ....
I am old school and thought that if I get in a que and wait patiently, my turn will eventually come. No need to make a fuss about "waiting" in the que .... but what I am seeing is that "Squeaky wheels are getting greased" and non squeaky wheels keep on rolling ....
Should I go from non-squeaky to squeaky ...... or just wait patiently for my number to show up....
Been reading about, radio issues, hood flutter, hybrid remote start (cold climate) CAT issues, gas tank drill hole recall, chip & material shortage etc ... so I am wondering ... Is it better to be on the wait list while initial issues are identified and resolved ...
Do know what the right answer is ... but I guess I am patiently waiting .....

@AlzMav It seems like with the limited chip availability, according to the memo, they are prioritizing the Lariat Luxury over the XLT Luxury. That might be why you have been skipped even though you're a 7/29 order. Are floor liners constrained? I would have removed those. Any little thing like that might cause you to get skipped.

That’s my (cautiously optimistic) take as well. Good luck to all of us!

I’m July 8th same dealer XLT Lux with CP350 with no build date. Been priority 2 for several months. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Maybe March, who knows.

If you're priority 2, even if you seem "stuck" - you're getting built.

Updated the chart in the original post with the final March numbers after last week's scheduling. Surprisingly (and contrary to my original projection of a 62.5%/37.5% split), at least for Chapman, the March scheduling was almost ALL hybrids (41) vs. Ecoboost (4) - a 91%/9% ratio!

We'll have to see (probably most importantly) if the allocation number holds steady near 45 for March, as well as how the scheduling gets weighted this month. The current split for the Chapman unscheduled Mavericks is now 55% hybrid/45% Ecoboost.

Also of note, I updated the first table to show that no scheduling is being done this week. On the bright side, that presumably means that next week's (week of 3/14) scheduling should be for build week of 2 May, instead of the 16 May I'd originally forecast. Extrapolating that further, since I had used the (clearly incorrect) assumption that they'd be sending out scheduling emails every week of the upcoming months (it appears instead that although production is happening every week, they only actually send out the schedule notifications during 2-3 weeks of every month), it should pull back ALL the build week dates.

I haven't decided, but rather than keep revising the original tables, maybe I will post an updated projection for future scheduling based on the remaining unscheduled numbers after each month's scheduling is completed. Thoughts?

Frankly most of the people on this forum who haven't received their Maverick yet should be massively pissed that Ford is letting dealers like Chapman openly game the allocations system. Some of these dealers have even clearly declared what they're doing and why. Like the dealer offering $3K off 2023 deliveries so their 2022 customers could jump in front of the rest of us. That's dirty pool.

I'm a big fan of supply and demand and the free market and even dealer allocations. But sometimes it just gets abused.

I'm not sure exactly what you think Chapman did wrong. If they continue to get the same number of allocations that they got in Nov, Dec, Jan, and Feb, they will deliver all the trucks ordered through their dealership.

I wish Chapman would be more open on where I am in line. I asked about two months ago when Tom posted there were 170 hybrids outstanding. I asked where I was, if I was 100 or 160, but all I got back was the generic 170 hybrid orders. I ordered from them on 1st of November, so I know I'm toward the end of the line, but would be nice to know how many Lariat Lux hybrids are in front of me. Shouldn't be that hard to check as I know Tim seems to be able to filter through orders pretty easily on his videos.

Are they gaming the system or is it just smart business? It's not like they are delivering vehicles faster than other dealers. There are still months between orders and scheduling just like everywhere else.
