And I'll never understand the pointless comments like yours. If you don't agree with the OP simply move along.

Same with these types of posts. You liked @ToothGrinder's post, no need to post more nonsense.

Threads like these may eventually have good resolution within the comments. Unfortunately it becomes a real treat to try and find such posts because of all of the nonsensical back and forth from the likes of the keyboard warriors above.
Then why would you even bother to quote us or reply? You could have taken your own words of advice and just posted your information to help OP and move on. Am I crazy or did OP not ask for help and only posted to complain? Your whiteknight facade is cute but annoying.

Buy a cheap product, complain about cost cutting measures. I’ll never understand this perspective.
My 35k build is cheap?

The fact that there are so many cost cutting measures even on the most expensive models is fairly ridiculous.

Pathetic cost cutting in my opinion. Not every Mav is the $20K version. When you get into the $30K plus territory, these missing items start to add up.
As I have said multiple times on this board: it is those who ordered a $30k+ truck who are going to have complaints. Sucks for you guys, but I ordered the cheapest truck and hybrid on the market (even with the XLT package). IMO it shows a lack of understanding of the production process to expect a higher trim truck to not have the same basic corners cut as does the base model - you're slapping $10k+ of lipstick on a $20k truck. If I was looking at spending $30K+, probably wouldn't be looking at a Maverick (or really, any truck currently on the market) at all.

So, just to be clear, you feel that no comments disagreeing with an OP's point of view are allowed?

This is just a weight savings for hybrids
But seriously, we've all been stressed out for 2+ years and now add on the horrible wait for a vehicle?? If it's not perfect, I'll choose not to let it consume me, but others may still need to vent. Be thankful you were able to get the cheapest vehicle in Ford's lineup while others still wait for the privilege.

I actually use the gap between the fender and horn to put my funnel and rag. Looking it at just now , it still there for the last couple of months

Yep, mine too. That means there is a Ford P/N for the foam, and the OP can order it and install it in his XLT. Everyone should be happy now.
