Glad to see the MPG results, but I'm still floored when people are getting gas for less than $3/gal. Filled up my CRV yesterday and it was $4.79/gal with carwash discount!
Good lord. $2.87 here yesterday. Southeast Louisiana.

That’s why I love GasBuddy. 40 cent spread per gallon near me so definitely worth using. 99% of the time I get Costco because it’s always within a couple cents off the lowest and they have better gas. Right now in metro Detroit area, regular is $3.08-$3.49 but premium has over a dollar spread. $3.43-$4.49

SW tip of Colorado here (4 corners). I can't remember last time reg gas was under $3.40 per gallon. Good thing I'm retired, everything close by and don't need to drive much.

That has to be around the lowest price in the country.

Still happy with our prices - regular stations have regular gas at $3.49 here, however I'm still getting premium at Costco or Sams Club for $3.29!

you live in cali. your taxes add about $.90/gal over other adjoining states. was paying just around $3/gal until Russian invasion. (was under $2/gal during the last admin).

A lot of you guys live in warmer climates. Around around, we have been experiencing below zero temperatures at night last week. I have been averaging 19 to 20 mpg (all in town driving 35 mph or less). Cold weather really takes it toll...

I am in Florida and the warm weather certainly isn't helping with my mileage. 99% city. 93 octane from Costco.

I tried mid-grade gas and it did not make a difference. However, I do wonder if the fill-up from Costco in Tucson had something to it, I got 31 MPG after filling up there.

Has anyone compared gas types i.e. ethanol blend vs straight gas, or does anyone even sell straight gas anymore? I know for years while almost everyone had ethanol blends, Sams Club either sold straight gas or sold a blend but was not posting the ethanol stickers?

Short trips? The EPA measures the 'city' value with a trip that is 30 minutes long and averages just under 22mph overall. Your distance over time is under that, at 19.34mph average. If Sarasota is anything like Fort Myers, you're probably also in too much traffic, all the time, and constantly stopping/waiting at lights.

That number stinks, but not totally unexpected. I'm curious if you have received a recall notice related to the gas tank issue? I have, but no gas smell and I'm getting MPG in line with what I expect so far (low the last couple months in the extreme MN cold weather).

That mileage is abysmal. My 5.0 in my 15 F150 gets 16.1 average right now. Here in Florida…man I want a maverick but not for 1 more mpg.

Yup, all short trips. I actually haven't even driven it on the highway since I drove it home from the dealer in Tampa on November 4. I don't think I've actually gone over 60 MPH since then.

I did receive a letter from Ford regarding the gas tank issue. It said they would be contacting again when the parts become available. I haven't noticed any gas smell.

That is pretty much what I got in my 2018 F-150 with the 3.5EB.

Do you regret the switch now? I will be selling my f150 to fund the Mav. I have no interest in the hybrid because I’d need the 4k tow which requires awd…

the reason I went with the f150 was because we were expecting our second child and the interior space is amazing but now they’re both in boosters so a smaller backseat should be fine. The gas mpg is killing me with my truck right now. Most of my driving is highway so I was hoping to achieve the closer to 30 mpg that’s advertised

I don't regret it at all. The F-150 was more truck than I ever needed. I use a truck mainly for Home Depot runs. It barely fit in my garage and was difficult to park. I was using a 2015 VW GTI as my primary vehicle when I had the F-150, which I sold after I got the Maverick. With the money I made trading the F-150 and selling the VW, I bought a used Corvette and still have money in the bank.
