Anyone install hybrid engine cover?

According to a quick search, using make, model and year, it says it does NOT fit.

Gives the same cover, and the posts that need to make it fit on the 2020+ Escape hybrid, but I don't believe anyone has attempted it as of yet. I'm personally not quite sure why you'd want to put it on.

Plan on adding a cover and some sound deadening on the hood just make it a bit quieter.

I asked a guy with an ecoboost engine cover if it was for sound deadening or personal preference, he said it did not make it quieter, but he just prefers to have a cover.

I'm planning to stick some fire proof insulation just under the hood. the 2.5L has a just-ok engine sound, kinda loud especially when you lower the window.

My engine has a really nice cover--with shiny velocity blue paint that matches the rest of the truck.

While I don't see the point of an engine cover, I'm glad that people are enjoying adding them to their trucks.

Okay... I made a big boo boo and bought all the parts for a 2.0 Ecoboost.... Had to order the right parts... Will keep you posted....something is holding up the order so it's not delivered yet.

Anyone in need of 2.0 cover parts... Will gladly give for a good deal.

Here it is... 10 minutes of work due to busting out a 10mm socket. I ordered too many screws and nuts... Only needed one screw, one nut and one plastic ball screw.
