Im in no rush, Im saving up to make a vacation out of the pilgrimage to Iowa. But for clarification sake, is that 3 approved to be picked for a build and a million waiting? Or something else? Im totally fine waiting. I just got a $600 lifted truck that has all the parts needed to run. So im good. But not all up us are super up on the lingo.

Yes, I believe ford will get it done. Just need to wait.It means Ford acknowledged the existence of 3 orders on the dealership end.
I think other orders will move on ahead as they get approved from other dealerships. Mine was all approved the day I submitted it.
Still… 3K off is 3K off(even if it comes late, I wouldn’t complain for 3K off )

Do they get approved in the order they were recieved? Or does Ford cherry pick what they want to build for that week? Or a combination of the 2? Nobody seems to know how the allocations system works. I hear different stories.
Also if a dealer gets a set number of allocations per week, and ford cut off the ordering on january 27th presumably because they knew they could only build so many per year, then wouldn't that bump up the allocations for all the dealers a bit.
Like in Grangers instance, you have a whole bunch of clean approved orders, maybe more than the weekly allocations ford gives them. Does that somehow get adjusted so that all their orders can get fulfilled?

I think we need to prepare ourselves that many of these orders will wind up being 23s. Not so sure thats a bad thing if they arent delivered until the end of the year anyway... assuming we get price protection.

In that case when does the order bank open back up ? You know cause I wanna be 1st in line if that happens.

- September 15 scheduling begins
- October 6 retail scheduling
- October 24 1st production
- October 27 OK to buy
