Just had the same multi-month delay. on an XL Ecoboost 4K tow w/ rim package. ETA jumped from 3/15 - 5/15. In production 1/11 built 1/31.

I'll probably look at other vehicles if this delay ends up not being a system glitch.
Update: this appears to be a glitch. The dealer provided the visibility report and the truck is actually in transit with a railcar number.

Man, I hope it is a glitch. My "produced" 1-13-22 ETA went from 2-14 to 5-21.

There is hope…I’m sure some of you have seen me whining somewhere on the forum about the delay. Went from 2/18 to 5/19. Couldn’t get tracker to load all day but just did and now it’s showing 3/15 šŸ¤žšŸ¼

What context is lacking? I was responding to your statements that semiconductors hadn't been invented in the 1960s and that the Apollo moon missions used vacuum tubes. Semiconductors were invented in the 1950s and the guidance computer on the Apollo moon missions used them. That's really all there is to it.

I find your personal experience interesting, but like a lot of you younger folks, you got too late a start to personally remember this part of computer history. ;)

BTW, I first worked as a computer operator in the 1960s on a scratch-built, room-sized computer at Rice University that actually did use vacuum tubes. It was a monster. Here's a picture that thankfully I am not in.

All you old dudes talking about the glory days. :)

p.s. I still have a CP-M manual somewhere in the house from when I worked on a "trash-80" (Radio Shack TRS-80) in grad school working on my masters in Comp Sci. I was already working for a "large computer manufacturer" doing operating systems development. (Started in 78 at 20 years old after getting my BS (double major - comp sci and econ).

p.p.s. There were a lot of fun times and the industry has treated me well, both financially and from a what I've been able to work on perspective. (It also took lots of very long days/nights working in this field). I'm still in it (teaching college computer science after retiring at 51). Things are different now, but there is still TONS of opportunities - denser chips and the resulting speeds along with multi-core processors make new applications possible.

Back to our regularly scheduled "Why is my truck delayed" conversation.

Yes, I think they rushed to move out dates 90 days to allow them time to better assess how to handle what was going to be a one month delay for most of us. Now we are happy with a 30 day delay.
Not sure if it matters, but are either of yours a Hybrid? It would be interesting to see if more of the Pushed delivery dates move top "built" and get shipped soon. I will take a 1 month delay over 3 month :)

I could be wrong but a number of post from others that got delayed to May and now receiving news today seem to be Lariat's. Not sure if they had the Lux or not. Be interesting to find out if the Lariat's are the ones getting pushed out first which if the case would not be right. While I am happy for me I do not think it fair for a XLT/XL that has been ready say a week or 2 before me not get the chip first. I hope that is not the case for anyone.

I’ve seen several posts throughout the website of people having build weeks as late as the first week of February and have March ETAā€˜s so I’m really hoping that this March movement finds its way to everyone else I’ve been on this journey on with early January build dates. Especially You, @DryHeat and some of my fellow Ohioans I’ve interacted with.
