You ordered yours in July and you're still waiting? Yikes. I ordered pretty much the same truck in October, other than the color. That doesn't give me much hope to see it anytime soon. I just wish Ford would let us know if AWD is going to be an option on the Hybrid. If so I'd cancel mine and start the waiting game again.
Saw an article not too long ago that GM and Ford are in the early part of the 21st century as far as chipsets are concerned and need to update their technology to what is currently being mass produced, instead of holding onto a dying manufacturing process.

Off-topic, but today is supposed to be my build week (pushed back from January twice, original order 7/27/21), and last night and this morning the tracker from the Ford website no longer shows anything, it won't even load. Anyone else experience this?

I don't quite understand , my 6/10 order of a FE hybrid has never been acted on.

Since all the FE's have to be a my/'22 why not build them out now??

They know exactly how many there are and the number of parts needed to build them, I mean come on already!
I ordered my FE Lariat Hybrid on June 18. It is currently in production but when I logged in over the wknd to CK the status the delivery date had been moved to May 31. Assuming it's the chip issue.

My sister works on the line at Ford in KY and says there have been trucks parked all over the city that are waiting for parts. She said they keeping getting temp laid off because they don't have enough parts to finish their truck builds. They build the 250s and larger at her plant

The allocation system is only a disaster for the extreme minority of people who have ordered from very small dealers. It works for Ford because they're success depends on their larger markets, not the small ones. It is what it is, hating their successful allocation system is silly. It's not like Ford is a company that popped up ten years ago, they've been doing this long enough to know what works. People hating on the allocation system are just bitter that they're a victim of their small dealership. In a normal market, it's not an issue, even the small dealers will get their allocated units eventually, in a destitute market like we're in now, the small dealers suffer. Ford isn't about to change their successful system to appease the few disgruntled small market customers. Hate the circumstances of a global pandemic and the supply chain issues that have resulted. Don't hate Ford's successful allocation system.
You statement implies that everyone was aware of and knew about the allocation system Ford uses prior to ordering. I know that myself and many others (based on their statements on MTC) that a majority of the folks who ordered had no idea there was an allocation system let alone know that it was biased against smaller dealerships. Speaking for myself, I ordered on July 5th from Holmes Tuttle Ford, a branch of Jim Click Ford the only Ford dealership in Tucson. I say a branch because it has a different name, but is owned by Jim Click, so basically the same dealership or so I thought. Jim Click Ford is one of the top 15 Ford dealers in the country. Yet, I still haven't received a build date! I've seen a 6 Mavericks from Jim Click and only 2 from Holmes Tuttle, so it appears that even though HT is part of JC the allocations aren't! When I found out about Ford's allocation system I figured I was OK because I was "part" of JC, but nope HT is treated as a small dealership when it come allocations. So yeah I do think Ford's allocation system sucks, because I figured that ordering online and receiving notice from Ford my order was accepted, that day I was placed in a long line and my order would be built before people who ordered in September, October, November, December, January and now February! Heck, there's even one person who's already received 2 Mavericks and has a build date for a third! So no, I'm not a fan of the allocation system 😕

...a bump to MY23 could be a good thing, will probably have a couple of new color options.
On the other hand, I'm not getting any younger...
My concern about being bumped to MY23 is that the same constraints could still going to be on and there's no guarantee, not yet anyway, that your order would automatically get priority over new orders. Remember the current screwy allocation system that's being used! Yes, there's probably going be new colors, but there's also a good possibility that some features will be dropped because of supply issues.

What date is more important? The actual date you placed the order or the date when the dealer placed your order in the system correctly?
That date your dealership placed the order. You should've received an email from Ford confirming your order, if the dealership provided Ford with it. You can also call Ford Customer Service and confirm that they have your order.

Must admit I am getting very disappointed in the whole process. Reserved and processed order in June looking for Fall/ End of Year delivery. Order confirmed early July. January Build week assigned early December. Reschedule to Feb and rescheduled again back to Jan. Build week has passed and no info or status. I did get window sticker. Dealer cannot provide any data and Ford Maverick Customer Service can only say still in production but I should plan on weeks to months delay. Not a hybrid. EB XLT with lux package ( SIBL included).
I had a Direct Offer Certificate from Ford that expired Jan 3rd…Price increases, Program direct offer expirations and ADM have made Fords advertising look like there will be a bait and switch consumer fraud class action lawsuit. How can you build/price a vehicle on Ford’s Website that you cant get unless you pay a Ford dealer an additional 25% premium. Local dealer has two on lot with a $5000 ADM on XL and $7500 ADM on XLT. Had I known that my new vehicle purchase would go from 3 mos to 12 mos I would have had a backup plan. I feel bad for the First Edition buyers whose edition is not the first. I have three fords in my driveway but as I need to replace one it looks like I need to look elsewhere. My neighbor went car shopping last weekend and had a new Toyota Rav 4 hybrid in his driveway three days later.

Is the direct offer certificate the same as the $1000 offer for not cancelling your order? If so, my salesman said it would still be honored. I suppose I'll find out once my truck shows up.

Yes, the tracking system leaves much to be desired. It has not worked for me since late last week.

I ordered my XLT hybrid with luxury package June 15 and have not been scheduled. I went to my dealer this weekend and got my deposit back. I liked the truck enough to be an early adopter, but not enough to wait a year to have it built. Hope someone will enjoy when they pay the ADM and receive it later this year or 2023.

How do you tell if you'll have delays after production. I got the impression from the update that even though some Mavericks will have a build date for production, that they'll still sit after production while they wait for chips.

I got my order confirmation on 6/17. I finally got the production email on 12/2 that I was set for 1/24. Once I got on the production page it shows 1/28 and a few days to build. There's no update yet on it being built or shipped, but I see an estimated delivery date of 3/7/22.

Anyone with experience, does this seem like something I'll get soon, or is the chip shortage issue still in play for my build? I did an XLT with eco boost lux package, tow package, and off road package. and a couple other smaller add ons. I'm hoping I'll get it soon, but the issue of trucks being produced but still sitting for chips has me concerned.

Exactly. That was in regards to this
"Try and buy a car in Europe. Don't be so quick to knock a capitalistic economy until you have experienced a socialist one."
NOT my comment as to why a Lariat ordered after an XLT might be completed first.
You brought up Europe.
Higher profit, higher priority comes right from the guy calling the shots.

Maybe there is a problem with context. Numerous people here have been knocking FoMoCo on the basis of building more profitable cars first. DUH!!(If you are not in that arena , GREAT) In an era of constraint that is what happens. You build you most profitable vehicles then you build what you can with what you have left over. We also do what we can to maximize our own lives. It seems like we are on the same page but the history of postings here and semantics got in the way.

My Retail Purchase Order says my $1000 deposit is non refundable. But I will pursue with state court system if dealer is unable to provide vehicle in reasonable time frame.

ha, people are definitely getting trucks. Roughly 100,000 orders and there have been less than 5,000 orders reported on this forum. This place isn't a great cross section of who is ACTUALLY ordering Mavericks. People almost never go to the internet to talk about the good things. Most people coming here are the very few who are waiting for the truck from a small allocation dealer and want to vent or complain. The system works. The factory pumps out almost 8,000 Mavericks each month, more than are even reported on this Forum. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to understand how that number conflicts with your statement which insinuates that people aren't getting trucks. You're just one of the few people, relatively speaking, who are currently at a disadvantage as a result of the allocation system. This has direct correlation to the supply chain shortage, like I said, in a normal world the small allocation dealers would get all of their special orders in addition to dealer stock.

Sorry you ordered from a small time dealer but maybe you'll get it eventually.
You are so right. The "MaverickTruckClub" is not the total Maverick Truck universe. This is a self chosen group. Surveys when taken in this group only pertain not only to this group, but only to thos ethat participated in the survey. It is NOT indicative of the entire Maverick universe.
