Scheduling has nothing to do with present production. No scheduling means no new builds are being scheduled for a future date this week.

When the plant is not running production, the schedulers aren’t present either. Just maintenance and vehicle repair.

Get it built so they can park it, in an empty lot in Mexico. I have a build date of March 7th but due to the chip shortage, I can't even be excited about it.

Ford didn't have much success with storing the F150s here in the states. Hope Mexico's climate is drier.. Ford should offer a wax undercoating if they take it upon themselves to store potentially their customer's vehicles. That would go a long way with customer confidence with Ford. Let alone the right thing to do.

It doesn't seem to matter when or what you ordered for your build date. I ordered my hybrid with just the lux package + 360 co-pilot that you must order with lux package, and Red pepper paint on 7/5/21. Nothing else. After finally getting a in production notice for 1/17 build, I checked to see where the truck was, only to find out that it went into production on 2/4/22, with a delivery date to my dealer (Sarasota Ford) on 3/13/22. Lots of people who ordered in Aug - Nov. with hybrid lux packages already have there trucks. It may have something to do with what dealer you ordered from.

Agreed, I will be 72 before I get my truck. I may have forgotten how to drive by then!

For my Rapid Red First Edition Hybrid with Luxe Pkg and 360; it took 4 weeks of "In Production" and 10 days in "being built". I'm on the 3rd day in the "shipped" category with an estimated delivery date of March 5th. I'm in Nashville, TN. I ordered August 3rd.

With my luck, this is the week that I will be scheduled for production. Which would put the delivery estimate right when I am due for my 2 week European vacation which we have had cancelled on us twice already due to covid. Also with my luck, I will not have any build date changes or shipping delays. My dealer will not be able to get a hold of me overseas and therefore sell my truck to someone else... Perfect timing.

Work with your dealer to get the paperwork done before you vacation.

It means there is no production at the plant, so current orders are pushed and nothing is being scheduled for the future. Everyone but facility maintenance and vehicle repair floor is on lay off

Not necessarily there could be cars from other build weeks that didn’t get built and have now been rescheduled to that week.
