Welp, just got rescheduled again lol. That makes it 5 times so far. It's becoming a weekly email from ford at this point. It's just an xlt with trailer hitch. No other options, so I'm not sure why they would be rescheduling so much.
We ought to start a thread as to who has been rescheduled the most and think of some reward for that. Lol

You should probably just go find something else
I thought about it, unfortunately, being a college student and soon to be college grad, I can't really afford, for example, a Ford Ranger Lariat, which if I remember correctly, is the only trim eith heated seats. I'm debating on holding my order, but checking other vehicles. I'm really wanting a pick up truck, or at the very least, get a SUV. I'm just gonna head to my dealership and see what they can do for me. Maybe they will change my priority code. People have recommended me to do that, I'm just not sure if it makes a difference. Not too familiar with this process.

Priority code at the dealership, is just that. It has no bearing on anything outside of the dealership. The better question for them would be where are you in line at that dealer, and what does their historical allocation look like. Allocation is everything. You could get a build date in April at this point for delivery in late may, or you could get your truck this November if at all.

Dealerships don't seem too keen on offering information about allocations it seems.

Those two facilities are the Ford Chicago Assembly Plant – which builds the Ford Explorer and Lincoln Aviator – as well as the Ford Michigan Assembly Plant – which builds the Ford Bronco and Ford Ranger. Production at both plants stopped yesterday, and both will be idle through next week as a direct result of the chip shortage.

To date, the shortage has cost automakers hundreds of billions in lost revenue and has sent new and used vehicle prices soaring to new record highs with each passing month. Ford has been impacted tremendously by this supply chain crisis as well and was previously projected to lose roughly 700,000 units of production last year alone.

Guess we can stop the rumor that chips we only go to high profit production lines.

My Lariat Lux Hybrid 360 was just moved up from 4/11 to 3/28 so maybe some more will get pushed in the left direction as they find room in the parking lot.

I have an XLT, Luxury package, with CP 360 on order. I ordered mine on 8/27/21.

I am NOT removing anything from my order. I'm going to have this truck for a long time, and will not remove options just to get it faster. I understand there are some who have a current vehicle that's almost dead, and they really need to get their Maverick fast, but I do not understand some folks who are willing to remove many nice options just to get it faster. I believe most of these folks will end up regretting this decision.

Just my opinion.
The only thing I would compromise on is anything I can get aftermarket. Such as cover, I could remove that if needed. I would also remove the SIBL, but I cant because it is part of the Lux package, which I would not remove. I could remove the mats but I don't think that that would be a holdup if it is a chip we are all waiting for. So I'm in it for the long wait.

I have read I can’t say how many posts about people needing the heated seats or steering wheel because it is too cold to drive with out them. Yes, they are nice to have but really not a necessity.
I have none of those on my truck. What I do is get on my Ford app. from the warmth of my house or wherever and remote start my Ranger so when I’m ready to go it is nice and toasty inside. Don’t need heated stuff. Not sure if it works on Hybrid, my Prius couldn’t do, but you Eco guys are covered. There are also gloves like we wore in the “Old Days”.

The problem is that all these are packages - it is all or nothing - and personally i use the remote app and it turns on my butt warmer. Life is good.

Yes, I totally agree with you about removing aftermarket items that can easily be installed by the dealer like SIBL, protective film, and tonneau covers. I should've said that in my OP.

I have Reynaud’s syndrome, which causes cold hands and feet. I wear gloves until the wheel comes to room temp. A heated steering wheel would be a dream come true.
