Sure hope so... I'll also need an assurance that there will be no test rides or anyone wanting to look in one. All wishful thinking of course assuming I get scheduled and all.. Probably very low odds.Let the dealership know you'll be out of town. Surely they'll park your truck and wait for you to return.
I told my salesman at order time that I wanted no protection packages installed by dealer and no holes drilled for license plate brackets, etc. And no stickers, emblems, or advertisements for the dealership. He agreed.Sure hope so... I'll also need an assurance that there will be no test rides or anyone wanting to look in one. All wishful thinking of course assuming I get scheduled and all.. Ahhh that was my thinking back in Dec! We were on a holiday cruise and our order was supposed to arrive that week. I was sure it would turn into a good omen but no, now 15 or 16 weeks waiting, no schedule, nothing but a VIN# I tracked down myself. Greenway Orlando is useless. With my luck, this is the week that I will be scheduled for production. Which would put the delivery estimate right when I am due for my 2 week European vacation which we have had cancelled on us twice already due to covid. Also with my luck, I will not have any build date changes or shipping delays. My dealer will not be able to get a hold of me overseas and therefore sell my truck to someone else... Perfect timing.
So is mullinax... maybe its an orlando thing hahaAhhh that was my thinking back in Dec! We were on a holiday cruise and our order was supposed to arrive that week. No they generally won't allow test drives in a customer's car because of the chances of getting in a wreck.Sure hope so... I started calling area dealers looking to buy off the lot and Mullinax Apopka was helpful (have a F-150 from them), thou they had none. Peacock Winter Park (got my Fusion there 2014 all my maint wk there) has also been super helpful and will be meeting the carrier on Tues for an avail truck. So is mullinax... maybe its an orlando thing haha
When we ordered at Greenway, my husband was allowed to sit in a customers truck that had not been picked up. He is 6'7" and fits my Fusion, drives a F-150 but we needed to make sure he could fit. It was way in the back private gated part of their lot, still had all the seat coverings on etc.Sure hope so... I'll take it!!! and sell it 10k over sticker, only kidding, just go to dealer and inform him you will be away make sure you have a signed contract and deposit on vehicle. he will be happy to have the vehicle on the lot and get orders when people see it. if they ever open the books again. that's what I would do I worked for a dealer for 35 years. let him know you don't want anyone driving it. they can look don't touch. With my luck, this is the week that I will be scheduled for production. Agreed, I will be 72 before I get my truck. I may have forgotten how to drive by then!So we are looking at minimum of May deliveries…. If we get a build date. Sad that some June orders were hoping for September build dates and us September orders are hoping for June… it’s not earth shattering, but honestly I’m not getting any younger and I want to enjoy these golden years in a Maverick.
Ford will select trucks to be built for those two weeks. So what exactly does this chart tell us? I am pretty new to the site.
My guess is it will be highly EcoBoost again (not sure there are many June/July left)..... But yes, if Hybrids are scheduled would love to see the Junes hog the show.Fingers crossed the focus is solely on June orders
