Doesnt matter now that we know its AGM. 100% sealed battery.

Toyota puts a vent tube on it's AGM batteries, to account for air pressure changes, I assume Ford would do the same.

Correct. My wife's Prius has a small vent tube that connects to the side of the battery. I was wondering if the Maverick 12v has the same set up.

The 12v battery isn't in the engine bay of the Hybrid...

BXT-99RT4-A is the hybrid battery and it is AGM. Just found out.

Could you please provide a source for this information. It is contrary to what others have shone.

Nothing on the battery indicates that it is a AGM.

Yup. Also found out that all new motorcraft batteries are AGM. Ford completely ditch traditional and that is good on them.

I don't think this is a true statement. Can you provide a source that indicated that all new Motorcraft batteries are AGM?

I see no mention of AGM. Most that do proudly display AGM lettering as it is considered a premium product.
