Saw this too! I hope it's true...! I want my truck for Christmas!!Screen shot from Fb since I can’t find anything official![]()
There are several factory installed Tonneau cover options. That's what I originally had in my order. Removed it because of constrants and decided to go dealer installed option. But then after what they quoted me, I purchased myself from accessories.ford.com. It was on sale this month 15% off, and it only took me 25 minutes to install. Easiest tonneau cover ever. My last one was such a bear, I swore I'd never do one again. Took two people. This one I did myself. Love then Ford oval embossed in the vinyl.I noticed in your signature line you mentioned that you removed the tonneau cover so it would get scheduled. I thought the tonneau cover was installed at the dealership. Can you provide more detail?
Where did you find the info? Because there is nothing on Ford, only on carfax and it seems to be a mistake...!There is an open recall for maverick with spray in bedliner built between may 20th and October 29th.The fuel tank has to be removed and inspected.
How can this whole post be pinned to the TOP!! Cmon, folks, really CarFax???? IF there is a recall FORD, not CARFAX, will let you know!!!!!Can't help wondering why the hell we're trusting CarFax for info on recalls, Using VIN it is pretty quick to check on line for OFFICIAL alerts and recalls
When did Car FAX become a trusted source for our trucks? What's next, them selling us warranties!
Personally I didn't ask for Carfax to be provided for me and I am suspicious of "Freebies" like this.
They don't have a dog in this fight and I'm not sure why or how they even got my info. My experience is there are No. Free. Lunches..... What is Car fax getting out of this??
There is a possibility that the supplier may have used a drill bit to remove spray in bedliner material from the drain holes in the bed. Inspecting the top of the fuel tank for punctures.Where did you find the info? Because there is nothing on Ford, only on carfax and it seems to be a mistake...!
