I have wanted (not needed) one since I bought my Maverick.
At $399, I could not resist.

I bought from Amazon, but not sure it would not be better to order direct from LEER.
Only negative thought is if i need to make use of warranty and they would not cover it.

Not paranoid, but if I was to do it again, I would have went direct for same price/free ship.

Looking forward to the new aesthetics and some security through obscurity.

Just thought that I would add, I got this cover last time it was on sale on Amazon, and I had an issue where the seal warped for seemingly no reason:

Credit to Leer thought, they honored their warranty and sent me a replacement seal promptly. (However, no instructions on how to actually remove and reinstall it, was a bit of a pain).

Not totally sure what caused the issue, since I normally park in a garage and it isn't actually super hot in the summer here.

I am guessing they are not an authorized LEER agent - so no 3yr warranty as in the description(?).

"LEER tonneau covers purchased from authorized dealers qualify for the full manufacturer's warranty. Buyers who obtain used products or purchase through unauthorized online sources should be aware that these items may be used, defective, or incomplete—and may not be covered under the warranty. "

Oh well .... I will deal with it when it's time.

I take "sold by LEER, supplier:Other" to mean it was sold by a company who supplies LEER products!!!. Probably getting a % from LEER

Maybe we could buy 20 from Leer get a discount then list them on Amazon and have LEER ship them to the buyer???

I just ordered one directly from lear, but it took some effort.

It seems that they're triggering security alerts with CC companies. Eventually, I was able to reply to a security message and get one approved. But both Citi & Navy Federal initially rejected them.

Pity about Citi; it had $35 back for $500 in online orders; I had to settle for 2% from Navy Federal.

Amazon still sowed $399 for F-150 and Silverado, but not for maverick.

And, peculiarly, Lear didn't charge sales tax.

I have alerts set up at $250 or more on my chase card. Have phone out and answer yes or no when text pops up "are you charging $401.01 at XYZ company?".
