Thank you! What a deal. I saw that it went back up to $1149 on Amazon, but I went to the Leer site and picked it up for $399. No tax and freee shipping. And I got another 2% off using my Citi card. I've been wanting one since I got the truck, but didn't want a cheap POS, but also didn't want to pay $1000. This is a fantastic deal. The guys at Leer must be wondering what's behind the sudden wave of orders 🤔
I think they have a sale once a year to make room in warehouse for the next BOATLOAD..... seems like a lot of models are on sale now.

Thank you for posting that deal. Picked one up as well. Now I think I'm going to use my Ford Points to get the Husky bed rug. With the current 15% and after applying Ford points, it's around $48.

Thank you.
I looked at the installation guide for the Leer. I was considering ordering 1 since I originally wanted it but was too costly. What I noticed is there isn't a bulkhead seal shown just the rubber seal attached to the fixed section. Since the Maverick has no where for water to drain at the cab it will run toward the sides and funnel down the weld seals into the bed. Silicon sealant will help prevent this, also used it to fill the gap on the side trim. Or a bulkhead seal like this one which I used in place of the RC supplied seal that was useless.

Mine doesn't leak. I used the foam block as instructed and seal the end of hold down rail and the black sticky tape sent with top to even out the weld seals. Put weight on the fixed section (100+ lbs) to compress the bulkhead seal and reduce needed number of nut turns with wrench. Never had leakage in front of bed. See attached pic.

I can see why they had to reduce it so drastically. The picture showing it folded,,
It does not stand up.
Even folded it limits bed use.
The photo doesn’t show it fully folded up. It folds flat up against the rear window. There’s 2 side supports that snap on to hold it vertically so you can use almost the entire bed. It covers up the rear glass but not the high brake light

Cool, that’s a grab it and run price.
A likely faze out, new model on the way I’d bet.

When the supports are put on be sure to put them on correctly. They are side particular and cannot be removed without damage (at least the ones a couple years back were that way). The folded panels are held vertical and are several inches from the window not actually against it! There is a support release lever which is small unless they have changed it so look for it.

I had my wife close everything up while I laid in the bed and I didn't see any light coming in from that area. We will take a look after the first carwash and see what's what.

The even better news is that my wife let me back out.😀
