Did you or will you add mudflaps?

I've had three sets on mine.

The first were Maxzina brand, and they had great coverage but looked really blocky. If anyone wants these for the price of shipping, DM me.

Next I bought RallyArmor universal flaps and custom cut and fit them. The fit and coverage was great, but the material wasn't rigid enough.

Now I have a set of Rockblokz, and they're perfect. They're rigid enough while still flexible enough to give when they need to. They have durable stainless screw-in mounting points vs all plastic push pins that others have. Finally, IMO they look much better than any of the other Amazon brand options.

Nice! Have any pics of them? I have heard good things about the Rockblokz are they worth the price?

Over 2 1/2 years ago mud flaps were the first add to my Maverick. I had done about a 12 mile errand after the first rain we had had in quite awhile. The roads were still only wet, no active rain, but my new Maverick had grime that had collected on the roads for weeks that got loosened up enough to land high up on the sides of my doors and quarters. This made me realize that even above that crease on the side was vulnerable to road junk. I chose the Mabetts and have been extremely happy with them right down to the installation. They are flexible where they need to be while still retaining a structure.

The green looks good in the light you had that day. But whenever I see one in dull overcast light; it looks like pea soup. So I have a love/hate relationship with that color.

Starting to see why black, white, silver, and greys are top selling colors. Lighting has less effect.

I'll say this. I can completely understand why someone wouldn't want to spend the money on Rockblokz when the price seems ridiculous compared to other options. I struggled with that myself until I installed them. However, they're worth it to me for these reasons :

• Excellent materials with a great balance between rigidity and flexibility
• Durable mounting hardware with adjust-ability
• Excellent coverage
• Clean, basic looks--not "blocky" like other molded options.

I just cleaned up my Mav yesterday, so I backed out of the garage and snapped these pics for you.

Thanks for the pics. Wow they look great! I am going to look into them for sure. I have the oem's but I have 245/65's and need a bit wider coverage.

The wheel will drop 6 inches before the flap is past the curb.

Will those flaps be able to literally fold like 90 degrees then bounce back with no damage?

I got the Maxzina flaps. They don’t wrap around on the paint. They are large, and use the factory wheel well liner holes. And the rear flaps are big enough to cover the giant void in the driver side fender. I like the look of the larger flaps and the price was right. I did replace some of the pins with screws and the clip-on nut thingers, but I did this when I installed them. I’m sure the pins were fine, but in my mind screws are always better.

I let go, and they go right back to straight. The problem I had with ones I had before were that either they were either too rigid (Maxzina), or so flexible that they would have a permanent bend from wind on the highway (cheap RallyArmor, not the good urethane ones). The Rockblokz are thick and durable, but flexible enough to bend out of the way when needed.

In my NOT so humble opinion ya still need em’
Keeps the lower door panels cleaner and keeps rocks from chipping the paint.

That greed is worth protecting !

And the fact that my wheels are 8.5" wide with 35mm offset makes them stick out right to the edges.

So get the soft kind so the wind will just push them out of the way.
