I just installed some RockBlokz on my FX4
They were easy to put on and look good

The only thing I didn't like about the Rokblokz installation is the red plastic tee clip that they furnish. I think I am going to put some nutserts in the holes that the clips were in and use a #10 machine screw so they tighten up a bit better. They do a great job in keeping from sanding the body behind the wheels and mud from being thrown up on the doors.

If you are taking a poll, I think mudflaps are the way to go with a Maverick. The small vehicle size looks odd to me with Bushwackers. Get whichever you like-it’s your ride.
The Falken's are wide enough that you do throw dirt up against the fender but not enough to warrant flares, in my opinion. If I were running 245's, or 8" rims or more offset then maybe flares would be something to consider. But I think that wider tires or rims or more offset could cause issues with the steering knuckles or half shafts.

Those Rokblokz flaps look good but damn, $150? No thanks.
That's only $50 more than the cheap flaps that you get from Weathertech or Ford. The same protection that you get from Rokblokz cost $250 from Ford.

Nope, I have found the ford parts mudflaps online on evilbay and at about $104 - $110 for a set of 4. Quirkparts had them for $104 set of 4. I like the rokblokz for the coverage, and no drill setup, and they dont rub the body. I wasnt too cool on the R☆B logo since I'm not into advertisement, but seeing it in black on black flaps, I think that made another sale.

Bushwhacker extend a fender. I was never a fan of them on anything. I can see those holding moisture and dirt in over time, or salt if you live in the rustbelt states, and rusting the fenders out. Anything like that holding in moisture, dirt, salt, is never a good thing.

I went with the RockBlokz. Not a fan of advertising myself but since my initials are RB I just say there customized. Love the coverage both on the outside of the truck and under the fenders.

I agree, I live in the salt belt & all those truck with flares on the fenders eventually have rust creeping out from them. I went with Rokblokz, black & black logo, easy to install after watching their video.

Black w black logos I'm sold !!!
And the rokblokz are tough enough to stop ballistic pebbles that are ejected from the tires. I am really a fan of the rokblokz
Do the RockBlokz fix the issue with dirt in the driver side rear fender?
The largest majority of dirt that is up in the fenders is from rain slinging the dirt up, but as far as behind the Rokblokz the fender is pretty clean. the bumper gets a bit muddy if I am on the freeway but for the most part, the dirt and crud stays on the Rokblokz and the fender isn't getting sandblasted by grit from the road.

Rokblokz for me as well. I have a huge pile of stuff to put on this truck. When it gets here I will be in the garage at minimum 2 days to get it all done. The more lengthy items will be the bed lights, and my oil catch cans. Simply because of any bracket fabrication and soldering I will be doing.

Hey, just for info, I have 245/70 on stock wheels with the fender flares. When I installed the 1,5 in spacers, the tires started to rub.
