I just installed mudflaps from Mabett and I am wondering about the bolts that hold them in place. I used the bolts already on the car, but I wonder if they will be long enough, or if they will work their way out. Mabett states I can get their complimentary accessory kit to replace them, but have no clue how to get the kit. If they do come out, does anyone know what size bolts I need to install or what size screws and clips I should use? Thank you.

I used my stock/factory push pins + a few bolts when I installed my Mud Flaps and they held up perfectly. You should have no problems with yours. I believe that mine came with new push pins, but I did not use them. Good luck with yours!

The (2) factory lower screws are #8, Rokblokz replaces the upper push-pin with a clip like this, but sized for a #8 screw.

I've only had my Mabett flaps on the truck for a couple months. I reused the OEM plastic anchors and they are still holding as firmly as the day I installed 'em. Cleaning the wheel wells using the handheld high pressure car wash hasn't loosened any of them so far.

IIRC, the ones that come with the flaps are spares. I kept, but did not use, any of them.

I have the WeaterTech rear flaps and I didn't feel like scratching my body by removing the existing clips and re-installing theirs to use a longer bolt.

I had to press a little on the plastic to get the screw to set and bite but they are on there and aren't going anywhere.

I have installed a set of aftermarket mud flaps and they came with new push in retaining plugs like the original that hold the inner plastic fender well and so far they have stayed on through multiple automatic car washes

I reused the plastic pins that came with my truck. Zero concerns about them staying on.
