Ford app says our truck received the 26C10 OTA update in May, but I got the trailer module warning last week while I was towing
It was daytime and it was a boat trailer with surge brakes so it wasn't a huge deal.
Also for some reason the app says OTA updates were turned off ... but we'd received several updates in the past, and I never turned them off myself

OTA updates are only available for MY25+, 22-24 Mavericks require a service tech to do the install.

OTA updates likely only work if the 12v battery has enough charge.

It's a '25 and I remember seeing the "update applied" prompt in the truck the morning after it received 26C10

Maybe the update defaulted the setting to off after the install?

Scheduled for 7/11, next weekend availability. Advisor and tech confirmed no effect if not towing.

Not recording dash cams. But I do have a backup camera that won't help if I am rear ended. What is the second camera?

I would guess it's the front one that detects the lane for lane assist, pre collision and oncoming headlights for auto high beams. You just don't see any of it on an actual screen like the back up camera.

The collision-avoidance/headlight sensor (at least I guess that's why it's there) camera in the windshield, which is why the rearview mirror is mounted so low.

Gotcha, I was thinking camera with an image. Forgot about that one. Fortunately the brake lights worked and no rear end collisions
