Not done yet, waiting for the new (tremor) skid plate to come in 2 days, then gonna swap out the wheel well liners and upgrade the fender flares (ones i initially went with are dog shit).

Ill be happy to post in depth instructions when its completed, but feel free to ask anything and ill answer with what I got so far. Attached is also some hideous brackets used to hold up the radiator/intercooler. They dont gotta be this ugly to work.

Did you swap out the radiator, or manage to keep the original, and make it fit?

I was able to keep the og radiator and intercooler, just needed to basically remove the entire bottom half of the housing theyre in, fabricate new brackets to hold it as high and far back as it (the radiator and intercooler) could go, and swap the support frame brackets (LX6Z-7810124-AL and LX6Z-7810125-AL)

So you're telling me all this time, Ford could have been doing this?! Obviously other than the RDU being different. Sounds like Ford was just too lazy to try to make 4K tow + Tremor work. I'm glad to see you are getting it done though!

They seriously could've made this happen with ease, but you know, capitalism lol.

No no no no.
The reason why you cannot get the 4K Tow Package on a Ford Maverick Tremor—whereas you can pair it with the FX4 package—comes down to a classic engineering trade-off. Ford designed the Tremor specifically for maximum off-road capability, and the hardware required for that task directly limits its ability to haul heavy loads.
The Tremor features a more complex Advanced AWD system with a twin-clutch rear drive unit (similar to the system found in the Ford Bronco Sport Badlands). It can mechanically lock the rear differential and send virtually all rear torque to a single wheel.
This advanced twin-clutch pack generates significantly more internal heat under prolonged, heavy strain. Towing 4,000 lbs up a long highway incline puts an immense, continuous load on the drivetrain, which risks overheating or damaging this specialized off-road clutch mechanism.

Hence why I said the RDU being different, in my post you quoted...

Ford would obviously have to do some more engineering with the RDU to make it work. But that's the thing, they could have made it work with a little more R&D, they just didn't go down that path.
