Thanks for the heads up on the circle mark.
I did not know that.
Mine is sitting right on top of that mark.
No problem, glad I was able to help.

I learned about the windshield wiper dot here awhile ago on another wiper thread.

It is a handy bit of info to pass on...that is the beauty of a site like this!

Have a great day,

Andy

This is how my passenger wiper is in the off position. It's been like that since I got it and the other day I turned off my wipers and it went down several more inch's and stopped. Now it's back to this position. Which correct.

When it rains, do the wipers work? Good, that’s what they’re supposed to do. 1/4 inch up or down isn’t going to make anything worse! And, I have OCD!

Actually mine stopped about 3 or 4" lower one day. not a 1/4". I probably wouldn't have noticed that. I pulled up the wiper today and it was sitting exactly on the dot.

When dropped you couldn't see it from the driver's seat. When I got out it was all the way down to the bottom of the windshield. Believe it or not, I don't care. For the people who provided info. Thanks.

Absolutely

I'm well acquainted where it is. I put a vinyl dot on it, for a post in an earlier thread.

It's always good to see how MTC can come to a consensus as to what is normal...

I looked closely at your photo, and your wiper seems to be sitting above its parked position...I think that I can see your indication spot below your wiper.

Here is a pic of my wiper in its proper position.

Be careful if you decide to pull your wiper off (to reposition), as I have read here that a special puller is needed!

Cheers,

Andy

While very few of us are considered normal 🤣 . I know I am not.
Yeah, I probably should have re-worded that. It's getting harder and harder for me to tell what's normal.
