Sure did. You have to do it for the passenger seat too
And the process often has to be repeated several times. But patience will eventually pay off. If you can't get it to work, just abandon the effort and try another day.

I did both driver & passenger seats with no helper. Although some have said you need someone sitting in both front seats to do the passenger. That was not the case for me. One thing to try if you initially fail is to try it with the Parking Brake ON, or OFF, if ON doesn't work.

NOTE: If you take the truck to a dealer for software updates, the process may have to be done over again, afterward.

For my 2025 Lariat Hybrid AWD I had to ignore steps 1. and 2. In the OM and do 3. and 4. Only and it worked.

So !
Are there guys out there with forscan that I can pay to permanently turn off the seatbelt OK button I’ve got to poke every stinking time I start up and belt in?

We need hackers to turn off every dang chime and bell and confirmation button and that awful start/stop BS

If I could get all that done and a way to hold the setting through updates and battery changes and shut down times

Well, If I could I’D Pay good money for that !

Do you need to be sitting in the seat you are trying turn off or not sitting in it?

My 2024 manual (hardcopy for Ecoboost) is slightly different.
In Step 1, it specifically states to turn on but do NOT start the vehicle.

I guess if doesn't work one way, try the other.

As a lifelong non-seatbelt wearer, I just put my seatbelt on. I suppose it gives me a little peace of mind in such a small vehicle. Of course, you do what works for you.

Sitting in seat. Literally cross out steps 1. and 2. Then follow everything else precisely top to bottom.
