My experience has been:

Fuel Gauge: This is more like a guide. The 1/8 increments are not small enough for it to be accurate

Miles Empty: This seems to start off really high when I fill the tank. 500+ miles. As it approaches 100 MTE, it seems to be more accurate. When I reach 70 MTE, I start looking for a gas station.

What happens if you don't push the OK button?
My dashboard notice goes away after 60 Seconds.🤷‍♂️
Yup, mine does the same...it holds my display hostage for 60 seconds.

That is the automatic timer for getting up to temp for safe operation of the EB and associated hardware 🤣 . When seatbelt pop up clears it is safe to put in D or R and drive 😁

I use that 60 seconds to figure out why the car-play won't sync up...

The fuel gauge is just the tip of the “it sucks” iceberg. All the bells and whistles with no way to control them. I get in the truck, put on my seat belt and start the truck. I then get a display showing I am the sole occupant and that I have my seat belt on. It then requires me to click “ok” to acknowledge I have my seat belt on. WTF!!! Clearly designed by Ford lawyers.
You shouldn't have to click OK. Just start driving. The idiotic OK dialogue should disappear.

Oh yes I know it disappears, but that 60 seconds of idiocracy is annoying!

You don’t have to click a dam thing.
Wait a minute and it goes out,

I generally sit and let my engine idle a minute anyways, while I,
Hook up my seat belt and disable auto stop/start,
My hands right there when I click my seat belt in.
No big deal.
Put my phone in the cubby behind the cup holders,
Back out and turn down my gravel road.
Patients Is a virtue.

I like my 2024 AWD Lariat Ecoboost so much that fooling with its dodads means little to me.
I consider it all a simple preflight check list.
:’P

Patience, grasshopper.
What can I say...I'm an analog guy struggling in a digital world. Although I was once on an IT project at work and one of the standards we were held to was minimizing the number of
"clicks" a user needed to do when using the system.

Great list of "things to do"...may I suggest flossing your teeth as well.

That explains your lack of acceptance for an unneeded response. Totally understandable. I've also noticed the vehicle asking for feedback when it tells you it's ready for driving. Wouldn't it be better to just get a notice that it isn't? Maybe much of this is federally mandated . . . I wouldn't doubt it.

Let's hope @Cherokee takes this in the good natured jest intended. I think he would.
Sorry...should have said flossing MY teeth. I was using the inclusive "your" meaning myself as well. Example: "It really sucks when your vehicle breaks down on vacation".

Doesn't disappear immediately going into R or D?

24XLT it does.

Of course if you have other options popping up behind that notice also requiring an OK to say keep a Myview - ya, bothersome.

The seatbelt notice does not disappear when going into reverse or drive at
least on a 2023 XLT it doesn't.
