Just curious - "parking speeds"?I've got 73k on my 8 speed. I've had maybe 3 or 4 clunks here and there at parking speeds. No other issues with shifting at other speeds. Love the sport mode. I always set the parking brake. Blows my mind how many people don't. It's not about stopping your car from rolling away, it's about avoiding the weight of the car "resting" against the parking gear and the force it takes to dislodge it. Even the slightest grade will cause this. Not a transmission killer, but not good either.
Also, don't follow the fluid change schedule from Ford. I did mine at 60k. Some say 30k, but I don't tow much.
Seems like that should be 0, but that makes it sound like not 0.
Ditto's to parking pawl. Not made as tough as years ago - I'm sure there was a lot of savings put in that whole system.
