I took the Maverick to the independent repair shop and they confirmed that there was no damage to either control arms. They then test drive and confirmed that the axles are vibrating. Then the shop owner wrote on the ticket that they found no damage and sent me to a different Ford dealership to have them look at replacement of the drive shafts. I then went to the second dealership and they have set an appointment for Tuesday next week.Be careful when doing that. Ford may choose not to reimburse if you had the axles replaced AFTER they issued the bulletin. Why not have the control arm replaced at an independent dealership then take it to another Ford dealership to replace the axles. ?
