I hadn't driven my 25 xlt in a few days and I noticed when I fired it up today that I had received an update...I haven't spent a lot of time with it but noticed right away that as soon as I clicked my seat belt the reminder/warning in the cluster went away...I know this has been an aggravation with many, myself included and I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this. I recently grabbed a forscan scanner to address this but haven't got around to it yet...great update as far as I'm concerned

Blessed with a 2022 Lariat here. Never been an issue. The "melody" stops immediately after clicking in. I have to wonder what models/years were afflicted with a non-stop warning.

Interesting, the sole reason I got the Forscan stuff was to get rid of that. Maybe I'll try setting it back to default now.

I also noticed something else for the first time that I assume is from the update. Yesterday, I turned the truck off in slippery mode. When I started it today, it asked if I wanted to remain in slippery mode. I'm not sure if that is something I just never noticed or if it is part of the update.

Went out this morning and didn't notice a change. 2026 xlt. I assume they let you know on the,app or display if there's a software update. I haven't seen either yet. It would be a nice update.

That is normal behavior if you turn off in any mode rather than the normal drive mode.

🤓 🤔 I have not received an update on my 2022, I use my seatbelt all the time. I guess I’ll have to keep an eye open for the update.

The 2025+ Mavericks are getting over the air updates. There are no such updates for older models at this time.

but noticed right away that as soon as I clicked my seat belt the reminder/warning in the cluster went away..
Did this also solve the pointless dialog box when a back belt isn't buckled in a seat it knows to be empty?

When I started it today, it asked if I wanted to remain in slippery mode.
It's always done that; it just tends to get overwritten by other frivolous messages.

Any idea how often these updates come out? I've had my 26 xlt for 5 weeks and haven't seen one. Our 5+ year old tesla seems to get one at least monthly. They're always tweaking something, radio, user interface, safety, functions and annoyances similar to this. Since the cars are connected they're always learning how to improve them. Let's hope Ford does the same and rolls them out to their customers.
