I wanted to eliminate the seat belt reminder. Tried the method in the manual, tried the other similar method listed on here.

Before anyone starts on about belts, I always wear mine, I was just hoping the dash screen wouldn't be there and would go right to whatever display I had on.

I ended up with a warning chime every 30 seconds that wouldn't go away through a battery disconnect and a hard battery reset. It MAY have finally stopped after multiple drive cycles. If not, I'll be heading to the service department.

23 XLT, just picked it up, early Aug build.

To my knowledge there isn’t a way to disable the seatbelt screen upon startup.
I believe it was only possible on 2022's.
I did it on my 2022 hybrid Lariat Lux, I never see that screen on start up.

I believe this is the procedure... The driver & front passenger belt warnings are activated & deactivated independently, so when dealing with one seat, do not buckle the other. The warning cannot be disabled and will not time out for MyKey.
1. Clear any displayed warnings before & during these steps
2. All doors & hood LATCHED, parking brake ON, gear selector in PARK, ignition OFF
3. Both driver & front passenger seat belts UNbuckled
4. Ignition in RUN, but do not start engine
5. Watch (about a minute) for the seat belt warning indicator to turn off and wait 5 seconds more, then
6. Buckle and unbuckle the desired seat belt 3 times within 20 seconds
7. Success is indicated by the belt warning indicator flashing rapidly for 3 seconds and then remaining off.

To my knowledge there isn’t a way to disable the seatbelt screen upon startup, at least on MY23. There is a way to disable the chime/warning noise for the front seats. The manual has instructions but they didn’t work for me. Instead I used instructions from this thread: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...or-hybrid-and-probably-ecoboost-too-diy.7820/
Just saw your response. So you have a 23, disabled the chime (and maybe red person wearing a belt symbol?) but that damn startup screen that lasts for a minute is still there? I'd rather have the chime and red warning than that screen...oh well. first world problems.

I got my chime to go away using the manual instructions with two changes. In between clicks of the seat belt, wait a full second after the seat belt light turns on and off to click it in and take it out. Don't rush it. Secondly, DONT put the parking brake on. I could never get it to work with the parking brake on but worked almost instantly once I turned it off
