September order still no word.

Hello all,

I just registered into the club and wanted to reach out to you all. I ordered a Ford Maverick XLT with spray in bed and tow package 4 plugs back in September. I received a general email from Ford confirming the order but nothing else as of now. No VIN, No updates. Called my dealer and they were not able to provide any updates on built date. Has anyone here ordered a similar Maverick back in September and already received a VIN # or any additional updtates?

*scoff* September order...HA! Buckle up, my friend. The emotions you go thru as you wait and anticipate that scheduling email is going to give you whiplash. I'm 2 sips away from AA meetings while waiting for my scheduling email. There are Ecoboost orders from June that are still waiting.

I ordered a Lariat, 2.0 EB, luxury package, spray in bed liner, tri-fold tonneau cover ( pretty much everything except AWD, FX4 pkg, and moonroof) on September 9th. I did not even receive the confirmation email but did verify with Ford that my order was received. My dealer has not been able to supply any updates either. It basically comes down to a large order bank and various constraints to production. There is a launch curve ramp-up and production didn't begin to effectively mid-August. Production at Hermosillo Assembly Plant is also shared with the Bronco Sport. We will get our Mavericks, even though it is taking more time than we would like.

I ordered a XLT lux,2.0 all the packages on 9/22 I have my vin# had an original build week given for 11/15, but have been set back four times to current build week of 12/13. I am one of the very lucky in this process.

Sounds exactly like my build, Area 51 AWD and a soft cover…. And almost everything else except 4FX and moonroof…. Nothing but crickets from my dealer.. original email from Ford telling me they have the order and I called Ford Marketing last week and was told that it’s in “Order Processing “ which is Ford speak for have a seat it’s gonna be a long time….

You are lucky. That is my order done on 9/18… nothing but original email from FORD.

August orders have only recently started getting scheduled and there are still July orders unscheduled... buckle up, its going to be a long ride.

Also the spray in bedliner is going to get your build slowed down. Get the spray in liner done aftermarket, its just as good or better.

Simple answer: Ford has a lot of production constraints, and it may take a while to get to your order.

On the upside, you aren't waiting on a hybrid, so you'll definitely get your September order before I get mine?
